supply alternate meanings for common words.
I am so proud18 Jan 2006 05:19 GMT8
I will be up in Leeds next week for a few days, to look after my
parents while dad has a cataract removed, he's 84 and almost blind in
his other eye so I want to help mum with him for a few days, she's 81
and fiercely independent but I've insisted on going.
Pirate Kitty Figurines18 Jan 2006 04:41 GMT2
I'm an ebay shopper and browse some of the "antique"
cat stuff.  I found this and thought someone might
be interested, since there have been several voyages
of the kitty pirates.  These are all set with eye

How to feel stupid!18 Jan 2006 00:27 GMT28
I got to work today and after I'd been there several hours, someone
asked me if I'd been to see the acupuncturist today.  I was amazed and
said how did you know, and they pulled a needle (quite a small one) out
of the back of my head!  I was extremely embarassed having been on the
Jessie's Blood Test Results17 Jan 2006 18:56 GMT20
Her T3s look fine and there is no other indication of thyroid problems, her
BUN and creatinin levels are perfect.
The only abnormality was a low white blood cell count.  This is ominous
because it's the second time within a year that she's had a low white blood
Ping: Catnipped17 Jan 2006 14:46 GMT21
Hi, Lori
You were asking for advice about breeding with Digger, I'm sorry, I can't
find the thread now.
I will come straight to the point for you to tell your daughter.
Barry Burton17 Jan 2006 05:12 GMT5
Much to my surprise, my allegedly cat-hating brother in law now has a
cat.
Dylan (25) has two brothers, Daniel (22) and Dorian (19).  Daniel moved
to BC this week and his girlfriend Fallon plans to follow him across
Sugar in hospital17 Jan 2006 05:08 GMT39
She was fine yesterday at noon. I came home to stink after work and she
had thrown up a lot and was hiding under the bed. To make a long story
short, even though she was a bit better and ate this a.m., when I came
home at lunch she had thrown up again so I called the vet and took ...
Help! Horrified panic about Scouty...17 Jan 2006 05:07 GMT18
Scouty just came and waved her butt in my face and I am willing to
swear on a stack of bibles that I SAW A WORM POKING OUT!!!!!!!!!! John
says that if she had worms we wouldn't see them and I must have
imagined it but I know what I saw... I immediately carried her over to
Big panic, need calming purrs17 Jan 2006 05:04 GMT43
I was reading the group just now when I heard awful screaming just outside
in the garden, like a cat fight but more so.  I rushed outside and shouted
but they didn't stop fighting. I didn't think to get a torch first, it's
completely black dark here which doesn't help because I ...
Who needs expensive cat toys? Boxes are so much better!16 Jan 2006 22:41 GMT4
Silver's been playing with the box that our water bottles came in all
weekend long... the bottles came out without my having to tear the
plastic so it's like a kind of tent - first she climbed right inside
it, and now she's sat on it and squished the plastic down, and she's
Ping Victor and all UK catslaves...16 Jan 2006 11:26 GMT27
Now Victor and Tom have decided to come to good old blighty.... (You're
stuck with it now Victor! ;o)) Can I please have a role call of who
would be likely to pitch up? Judging by the number of us there is likely
to be, it might be worth us thinking about booking a resturant. I know
Home in one piece :o))16 Jan 2006 07:33 GMT20
I've collected him and we're home. :o)
I have to say that Virgin Atlantic were EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD in their
handling of Robbie. There was also a pet dog on Robbies flight, who like
Robbie, is scared of men. Virgin staff at Washington Dulles contacted
The Mighty Huntress strikes again16 Jan 2006 05:12 GMT7
Waffles missing many fangs, has only one eye and one of her back legs is
held together by means of a metal rod in it. Despite this, she is sprightly,
fit, *knows* she is the superior being, and is queen of all she surveys.
This morning she earned her keep. She told me she wished ...
