Back, exhausted27 Dec 2005 18:09 GMT2
Well, I'm back home after my girly Christmas in Bangkok.  Exhausted.
The whole thing almost didn't happen.  On Friday afternoon, at 2:30, I
suddenly got extremely ill.  Within a 10 minute time period, I went from
feeling perfectly fine to incredibly nauseous, bad case of the runs, ...
Well it's been an interesting Xmas...27 Dec 2005 18:03 GMT15
Well it's been an "interesting" (as in the Chinese curse sense) Xmas for
me. I got rushed to the ER on Xmas eve at 9pm with stomach cramps as was
there until 5am Christmas morning having MRI's and tests as they thought
it was appendicitis. It wasn't fortunately, but I was rough all ...
Purrs requested27 Dec 2005 18:00 GMT18
As you may know I'll soon be a homeowner for the first time. Not my dream
house, by a long shot, but far better than where I've been for the last six
years, and no more overlord telling me what I can and can't do and how long
I can stay (well, at least as long as I keep the bank ...

WHAT were those treats you sent with your Xmas card? Little miss
'catfood is beneath me' Miranda ate TWO of them!!! This is the first
time ever she's eaten any kind of food or treat intended for cats! I
think there may be hope for her yet. Thank you so much for brightening
Tommy loves the bathtub27 Dec 2005 14:42 GMT2
Maybe I should rather say he loves the water in the bathtub.
As some of you may recall, when I tried to fix the floor under the tub (and
had the tub fall on my head) I forgot it was connected to a drain pipe and
busted it off. So now the tub drains directly into the backyard ...
Baby Eyes' successful hunt27 Dec 2005 08:41 GMT12
There was a mouse in the house today, and Baby Eyes was the first to see it.
Once she got after it, the hunt kept her fully occupied for more than an
hour. When she finally captured the mouse, it was so worn out it just
surrendered, and sat next to the cat, grooming itself, for ...
The ToughGirlKitty Roadcat27 Dec 2005 02:08 GMT10
As I've mentioned before, I've been working as system administrator for a
web hosting company since July. My coworkers aren't bad as coworkers go,
but I have always had a very hard time dealing with people. My co-workers
haven't learned much about me, beyond the facts that I love ...

Duffy and Holly frolic at Christmas26 Dec 2005 20:32 GMT2
Duffy and Holly get great pleasure from their catnip mats.  I just posted 3

Today is the one-year anniversary of the tsunami.  I'm going to light some
candles tonight in memory of the victims.

Xmas Scare26 Dec 2005 17:06 GMT17
I was playing carols on the turntable last night, with candles lit and
enjoying our tree.  While petting Merlyn, I noticed a horrible, thick
growth under her chin.  I am guessing (and hoping) it is an abscess.
She is allergic to fleas, and they were defleaed a couple of weeks
Rhett killed the humidifier26 Dec 2005 16:06 GMT2
At least I'm pretty sure it was him, because he chews on the plastic
and pushes it around. After he knocked it off of the table top a week
or two ago (silly me to think I could put it up there in the first
place) it seemed ok, and not broken. Yesterday, out of the blue, the
a very merry christmas26 Dec 2005 15:57 GMT3
So far, the holidays have been absolutely wonderful for me.
DH and I spent the night at my brother's house in Maryland before
driving down to North Carolina.  My brother and I have never been
terribly close -- it's not that we dislike each other, just that he is
More Lucy (and family) pictures26 Dec 2005 14:11 GMT2
I went to my Dad's for Christmas today. Lucy kitty is still not very
fond of people, although my dad says she seems to be mellowing out
*just a little* bit. She still ruthlessly punishes any and all who try
to touch her royal calico body (grin).
