Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year28 Dec 2005 23:45 GMT2
You may think this is a little late - well, it is! - but the reason is
simple: I have caught up on reading RPCA for the first time for three
months.
So Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.
[UPDATE] Xmas Scare28 Dec 2005 20:30 GMT9
First, thank and bless you dear folks who called into the vet's to
help me out before I even got there!  You are wonderful, and your help
is deeply appreciated.
Now I'm a little embarrassed.  <sheepish grin>  Here's why.
Everyone is home...28 Dec 2005 19:06 GMT2
Well, Lily isn't yet. ;o)
I've just got my guys picked up from the cattery. The cattery is lovely,
and the staff are very competent and kind, but the mogs hate being
cooped up and they don't enjoy it.

Thank you for your advise.
However I absolutely have no idea what "your location is a little vague
since you just broadcasted the whole world on this newsgroup." mean.
Are you being sarcastic? Well, I guess it's your choice to be that way but

OUTSIDE DAYS ARE OVER.28 Dec 2005 16:17 GMT27
My indoor-outdoor cats just suddenly became strictly-indoor. Beginning
today.
We had our Christmas dinner today (nurses in the family have to work
Sat. & Sun.). Because of the hustle and bustle, it was later than usual
Refridgerater kitties28 Dec 2005 15:40 GMT9
Tony, at the ripe old age of eleven has discovered the inside of the
fridge.  I thought this was a kitten thing.  Stripey Thing climbed in
there everytime I opened it when he was a kitten but he outgrew it when
he didn't get anything.  At first at would drag Tony out by the ...
Sleeping it off!28 Dec 2005 14:41 GMT1
It is a family tradition that we watch the Tom and Jerry cartoon 'night
before Christmas' on Christmas eve. Phoenix sat on my lap and watched it
with great concentration! It was so funny to see him that I think I spent
more time watching him than the cartoon.
Mayhem is home and she's not happy....28 Dec 2005 14:40 GMT2
Can't say i blame her though
i send her to school where she is poked and prodded, then i bring her
home and a week an a half later i ABANDON her at my friends apartment.

Even though your mother was probably the town slut.
Poor Christmas Tree28 Dec 2005 01:58 GMT1
I told you all about my four girls enjoying Christmas so much that it
brightened Ben and my day.  Well, there is never a benefit without a cost.
Fortunately, in this case, the tree paid the price!  ;>

God Jul to all of you!28 Dec 2005 00:18 GMT10
I guess you all understood what 'God Jul' meant? No? Ok, 'God' means 'good'
or 'nice' and 'Jul' means 'Yule'... Norwegian holiday greeting.
But where did the word 'Jul' come from? One explanation is that in
pre-Christian ages, people looked upon the sun as a wheel (Norw. 'hjul'),
I don't wanna miss anything27 Dec 2005 23:19 GMT3
Stripey Thing has decided he is only going to answer to Tony and
Mattie's names.  He still knows his name, he just won't come to it as
often anymore.  But it is a guarantee that if I call Mattie I will get
not only Mattie, but Stripey Thing as well.  In fact, I might even get
Purrs Please! [OT]27 Dec 2005 20:39 GMT17
I mentioned a few weeks back that I had two root canals (I had to go to the
oral surgeon because I have crooked roots).  When the oral surgeon was
removing a root he broke off the end of a file in my tooth and left it
there.  He told me that he had already rinsed the root out ...
