| Sleepy head | 06 Dec 2005 05:00 GMT | 3 |
Tony and I were in bed and he was sound asleep. I like to put my head on his chest - which usually wakes him up and makes him start purring. This time he stayed sound asleep and I got treated to the sound of his heart beat loud and clear THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP and his breathing ...

BlueBird ? Or maybe Cheryle ? Well, she sure remembers all of you !!!!! I've got to admit that you are a pretty hard bunch of people to forget !!!! And I mean that in a nice way in case anyone wonders. (BTW, before you wonder if I've forgotten how to spell and stuff like that ...

| Just popping in... | 06 Dec 2005 02:29 GMT | 13 |
...to say hello. I'm not even managing to lurk regularly these days due to various pregnancy-related complaints which are too dull to bother itemising. The only good thing about being pregnant is the baby you get at the end

I woke up, and there was this cat, so I stroked it. Curious, I thought, it's not Siamese. Minke appears to have a playmate!

| Cat In Trouble - Woman Arrested | 06 Dec 2005 00:33 GMT | 21 |
A woman dialed 911 here in Houston when her cat was trapped in a drain. They wouldn't send out anyone to rescue the cat so the woman (a single mother) called 911 again and this time said, "My 2-year-old baby is trapped in a drain" (note: her cat's name *IS* "Baby" and he's 2). They ...

As many of you know, my husband Carl passed away a couple of weeks ago. At the memorial we asked people to share Carl stories and there were a lot of good ones! Here is one I'd like to share with this group: Carl called me at work one day. He had gone back to sleep after I'd left

| Frank is 18 today | 05 Dec 2005 15:16 GMT | 76 |
In Finland, when you turn 18, you can vote, you can drive a car, you can buy beer and wine (but no stronger alcoholic beverages), your parents don't have a legal obligation to support you any more. Well, I think I'll take care of Frank a little longer, but I suspect he won't be ...

| Signs of progress | 05 Dec 2005 12:22 GMT | 5 |
Some people just walked past our apartment... Scouty was on the desk next to me, and instead of turning around and running away to the bedroom, she ran over to the couch under the window and put her paws up on it so she could see out and watch them! Our little scaredycat is
