| Christmas cards | 08 Dec 2005 02:23 GMT | 4 |
Wow, y'all are so sweet! I've already received 5 cards and I wasn't expecting any. I didn't want to be in the card exchange this year because we've got so much going on right now, I didn't think I'd have the time.

| Cats have nightmares too! | 08 Dec 2005 01:06 GMT | 10 |
I was just sitting on the couch, Pearl leaning against my legs and Sugar asleep in the perch beside me, when all the sudden Sugar let out a HIIIISSSSS! and woke up! She must have had a bad dream. She is very clingy now, coming to sit right behind my head. Poor baby! I wonder

| It must be the snow | 08 Dec 2005 00:14 GMT | 15 |
Rhett decided he liked playing under the cat bed on the couch. Shamrock wanted to play on the cat bed on the couch. Much pawing in between began. Slow hoomin tried to take pictures, but, well, too slow. Shamrock was back to his old old tricks of knocking

| Bonnie and her sick mousie | 08 Dec 2005 00:12 GMT | 16 |
I've written about Bonnie and her play-n-squeak mousie toys - where she used to line them all up like kittens, then one quit squeaking, and she always put it in the kitchen no matter where she found it. Proceed to howl at it. Howl at it whenever she saw it. So, thinking

| Stormy Update | 07 Dec 2005 21:49 GMT | 8 |
I got a call last night from Stormy's new mommy. Well, she regaled me for at least half an hour with Stormy stories. She's so happy!! Even her mom has fallen in love with the new grandkitty. Stormy has apparently settled in quite nicely, and the resident d-pet LOVES her

| Funny Nina Moment | 07 Dec 2005 20:03 GMT | 5 |
My mom popped by my apartment for a cup of tea on Sunday afternoon before taking a week's trip to Hawaii. (Lucky woman!) Anyway, At first Nina did her usual "Hide under the comforter" trick in the hopes of passing unnoticed. Fat Chance, I pointed out the Nina-sized bump under the ...

| Mr. Fleas changed his name! | 07 Dec 2005 18:46 GMT | 2 |
Mr. Fleas changed his name to avoid hate mail sent by a group of angry, flea-infested Chihuahuas! He also addresses the question of a university student who's having trouble fitting in. Check it out at www.housecatwisdom.blogspot.com! :)

| Whose bed is it, anyway? | 07 Dec 2005 16:38 GMT | 11 |
This morning I woke up early. Last night it was especially cold, and I hadn't turned off the electric blanket, as I usually do before I got to sleep. I was overly warm when I woke up, so I threw the covers back. Immediately, Lindy, who was lying close to me, began protesting, ...

| Snake just came out of the ceiling!!! | 07 Dec 2005 16:09 GMT | 41 |
Ok, I now know the feeling of complete and utter paralyzing terror. I always laughed at how they show people freeze up in the movies, but now I know it's totally true. It's the King's birthday here and Dennis and I were out for dinner at
