PING: Jill: Good Luck12 Dec 2005 17:19 GMT1
I'm posting this now because I'll probably forget tomorrow morning and not
post it until *after* your interview...
Good Luck on your job interview!  All 12 kitties are purring for you, and
Max the D-pet is drooling a bit (OK, maybe it's the pig-ear we gave him, but
An odd occurrence12 Dec 2005 16:02 GMT4
Yesterday was a sad day for most of us here.  It was doubly sad for me
because it was the anniversary of my beloved Circe's death in 1994.
The night I took him in, I gave him everything he ever loved -- baby
food, ice cream, turkey, and catnip.  I took him back to the building
Goodbye, Frank12 Dec 2005 15:11 GMT24
Goodbye, Frank. Nothing will hurt you now. Many cats have been loved as much
as you, but _none_ have been loved more. I'm lighting a candle for you, you
will never be forgotten.
Holiday cards12 Dec 2005 01:42 GMT22
I am sending a few off day by day.  It's really shocking how much overseas
postage is for each card.  68p.  I sent 10 today.
I really wanted to send to everyone on the list especially those on receive
only as I was on receive only last year because I'd been very ill.
An elf for a day12 Dec 2005 01:42 GMT2
Our Petsmart started doing the pictures with Santa thing this weekend, and
Louie and I decided to join in, helping with the fourleggers and trimming
pictures for the little snowflake ornaments, etc. We bought Milkbones and
Pounce and every little visitor got a "cookie." Five bucks ...
So very lovable11 Dec 2005 20:14 GMT1
Little Feet is being very cuddly today. Probably because Little Boy
is so attentive. Little Boy is doing very well, by the way.
If  I sit down, Little Feet is in my lap, kneading and purring. If I
lie down, he is on my side chest or back and rubbing his face against

for all the things that almost happen
that would have been so wonderful if only they had
and all the wonderful things yet to come
for all of us
Interview Monday!11 Dec 2005 15:28 GMT26
Woo hoo!  Apparently I'm not too technical to work at a veterinary office!
Just got a call; I have an interview on Monday at 11:00 PM.  What to wear,
what to wear... definitely not a fur coat. LOL  Hmmm.  Wish me luck!

Shelters for feral cats11 Dec 2005 15:28 GMT4
Here's one of three shelters I made for a small group of cats we have
been taking care of for the past year. We've been lucky in that we
were able to adopt one out, and another seems to be giving us the
hint: )
Hello .... please allow me to introduce myself11 Dec 2005 08:02 GMT22
My name is Sir Bertie, and I've had access to RPCA for a couple of weeks
now, but didn't want to appear pushy.  Please, call me Bertie.
I've managed to work my way into a household with three other cats, but
I'm doing very well, all things considering.  The other boycat, Jasper,
Update: Little Girl11 Dec 2005 06:15 GMT9
It seems that my gender identifying skills have gone bad - Little
Girl is a neutered Little Boy, which means he is assuredly NOT
pregnant (grin).
He is also negative on FelV, and has managed to open his abscess
A few pics of the kidz ...11 Dec 2005 05:41 GMT2
Still workin' on this page but here are a few pics of the kidz ...
don't have a new of Dusty in her present state of ... uhhh ...
chubbiness ... these were taken a few months ago (one set of pics of
Oreo are when he was a kitten) ...
Pics, including Frank11 Dec 2005 05:07 GMT16
I took some pics of Mir and Cal (taped the battery hatch shut, and it
worked!) today. When I downloaded the pics to my computer, I discovered
some old pics, including one of Frank. This is the last picture of him,
taken at the end of November, I think:
Sorry11 Dec 2005 01:05 GMT5
Christmas cards have been written out for more than a week, but owing to
illness I haven't been able to get them in the post.  This may remain
the case.
Sorry.
Brrrrr! and purrs11 Dec 2005 00:39 GMT1
Purrs for all who need them right now, for whatever reason.  I simply can't
keep up.
It's very cold for west Tennessee (was in the teens farenheit last night).
Persia has been extra snuggly, helping me to stay warm and sending out her
