Infestation of litter box greeblings....14 Dec 2005 23:13 GMT3
I think the litter box greeblings must be particularly bad in my house.
Without exception all my cats use the box (for whatever purpose) and
then go on a massive greebling killing spree.
We're in the middle of a killing spree now and Lily has just chased what
allergy formula cat foods14 Dec 2005 23:03 GMT11
I have a cat, Bobby, that throws up all the foods I feed.  I then
switched to Wellness and that worked for him but I read that it causes
urinary tract disease in male cats.  So, I am now using Natural Balance
Allergy brand - has venison and green pea in it.  I think Dick
List your babies here14 Dec 2005 20:54 GMT85
We have a fair amount of new folks posting, not to mention all us "old
folks" (ahem).  And while I know many of your cats' names, my
age-addled brain sometimes forgets.  So how about posting your name
and your kitties (and other pets, too, if you want) in this thread, so
BRRR! for Mooch Two14 Dec 2005 20:50 GMT9
We have a little stray named Mooch Two who's become like our fourth cat. In
this cold Canadian climate, we've rigged a big chair on our veranda with
blankets and a heating pad, which we turn on for him. We also provide him
three or four meals a day, and water. It's a delight to ...
Theory of the Black Cat Which Must Be Named14 Dec 2005 20:41 GMT6
Since bringing him inside, I believe I've learned how "Mariah" came to
live in our yard.  I'm thinking that a mother and/or father decided to
give little daughter/son a kitten as a gift. (He's been hanging out at
our house for several months so this wasn't a christmas gift).  ...
Early wake-up14 Dec 2005 17:07 GMT16
Now, as I get up very early in the week for work, I  *do* like to have a
little lie-in on Saturday and Sunday morning.  I was not best pleased,
therefore, to be woken up this morning before 7 by Boyfriend wowling his
head off.  I put the pillow around my ears, but no good..he ...
Santa came early!14 Dec 2005 16:38 GMT22
Okay, I don't believe in Santa but UPS just delivered a new 17" flat panel
monitor to my door.  I'm happy!  And thank you, LLL, who knows nothing about
computers but knows I was having problems with my monitor and knows I have a
Dell :)
Cat documentary "Pussies Galore"14 Dec 2005 15:39 GMT3
A while ago my wife watched a BBC Wildlife on One documentary called
"Pussies Galore" which was about feral cats living in Rome. If anybody
has a copy, can get a copy etc then I would be more than interested as
she mentions it on an almost daily basis.
Proud of my boys14 Dec 2005 15:20 GMT4
In August DP and I bought our first home and moved closer to
work/school in a university town.  Now that we live so close, friends
are ALWAYS stopping in to say hi.  This has been quite a change
for Simba and Pepper as they are not used to company visiting.  It has

Latin names for my cats14 Dec 2005 13:12 GMT3
My cats have their own personal Latin names now.
If the average housecat is felis domesticatus:
Tyche is felis philoglossus (Tongue-loving kitty)
Kumani is felis emesis (Barfing bitty)
Birthday present - possible GW14 Dec 2005 12:24 GMT48
During the week I had my birthday present from Vernon :-) My birthday was in
December, but my present occurred this week.
I went to have my innards flushed. So if you are squeamish - do not read on
;-)
New toy for the cats14 Dec 2005 05:32 GMT9
Trouble loves to be under or inside of things so we have been on the
lookout for a miniature tent display model just big enough for her for
years.  Having no luck we started looking at children's play tents and
finally found the American Camper 3 in 1 Play Tent.  We spent about
Kate and Jack get sprung (temporarily)14 Dec 2005 02:21 GMT5
I finally got all the cats flea-treated, so yesterday it was time to
introduce Kate and Jack to the rest of the crew.
I took them downstairs in a carrier, and let the other cats sniff them
for a few minutes, after giving the resident cats treats to make them

I know, I know - I'm becoming obnoxious whipping out the grandbaby pictures
all the time!  ;>  These include my daughter and Digger in some of the also.
