everyone was so nice in sending purrs for the last treatment and
certainly deserve to know what the result was!
Persia gets 2 "Scares"17 Dec 2005 04:34 GMT1
The first was when we were on the couch and she suddenly realized she could
see *something* through the blinds on my back door.  I'd hung a wreath out

wreath intently and making little growling sounds.  She ...
misc cat stuff (sorta long)17 Dec 2005 02:16 GMT8
Some of you may remember that I posted quite a while ago about one of
my kitties, Buck, who has occasionally displayed heat-like behaviour
in spite of having been spayed.  Well, after some examination and
discussion, the vet suggested it could simply be a symptom of anxiety,
I called the humane society...17 Dec 2005 00:51 GMT41
I had to do it.  The neighbor's cat is just shudderingly gross.  They said
they would send out the proper authorities to investigate.  I feel guilty
because the neighbors are gonna *know* it's me who called and we're already
not on friendly terms, but I had to do it.
... and poor Caliban17 Dec 2005 00:51 GMT24
The ringworm treatment for the kittens is under way. They get medicine
one week, then one week off, then one week on, one week off, and one
week on. The vet also gave me a liquid med to mix in water to make a dip
for them. I got my sister, the animal caretaker, to come and help ...
PC woes are over...I hope17 Dec 2005 00:06 GMT4
Boy!! For the last year or so I have had a lot of pc woes. We even
replaced a couple parts and run tests and then finally found out it is
the motherboard. By then i  could no longer afford to replace that. So
I learned to live with it...sort of.

Drop Bears - The Truth
For those of you who do not know the history of Drop Bears in

your family.
The curse of the toilet paper monster.....16 Dec 2005 08:50 GMT18
My cats like to join me or my brother in the bathroom when we're going
through the evening routines. Last night, Jay, my brother, was shaving.
He wet shaves using foam and a razor. His "Baby girl", Lily was
supervising from the side of the sink.
Update from the Gang of Orinj16 Dec 2005 07:52 GMT1
yay we have our first litterbox poop!! someone, I'm not sure who, did a
little doo doo, so the litterbox training is well underway. Everyone has
decided kitten food is yummy, and nearly every time I visit, someone
(usually violet or moe for some reason) has their head in the kibble ...
Mommy is up to something.....16 Dec 2005 05:14 GMT2
She's tidying up the house again and brought out the big, noisy monster
that sucked up all my precisely placed fur.  She also gave us gooshy
food last night, and now i think she was trying to bribe us.
I also heard her mumbling about someone coming home today, but i don't
Purrs, please?16 Dec 2005 03:40 GMT37
With all the bad/sad posts here lately, I've been hesitant to add more
but Speckles has had a rough week or so and the vets have done all
they can for her.   My last hope is in asking for purrs - I know they
can work wonders.  *Please* send a few spare purrs to help her.  Thank
