Boyfriend continues..20 Dec 2005 14:49 GMT19
To be the man of the house.  I think Wayne has definitely got something with
his theory about this!
Kitty hardly stirs from the fire these days, now it's so cold outside. Being
an ex outdoor-only cat she really does prefer food she has caught herself
We may yet have peace in our time20 Dec 2005 14:31 GMT2
We have our very shy feral darling Molly,  she will barely let me touch her
after a year,  She will come sleep on my feet if she is quite sure the boys
aren't coming home to sleep and that I'm sound asleep.
I had overly rambunctious Kayla the eight week old Border puppy out in the ...
Happy Purrday to me, happy purrday to mee...20 Dec 2005 12:41 GMT51
Well, 'tis my purrday today. Vernon has given me a dozen roses and a radio
(needed new radio for the kitchen, it's the only thing that makes the
housework bearable). Nathan has just given me the combined Green Day CD/DVD
'Bullet in a Bible' **excellent** and the cats have already ...
"ALL YOUR BOX ARE BELONG TO STINKY"20 Dec 2005 12:32 GMT20
What with Xmas a week away, and all the shopping (especially online) I
am up to my butt in boxes and paper, at the moment.  THey're
downstairs, they're upstairs.  I was watching TV, and half-watching
Dante jump in and out of a shoe box, and rattle the paper around, when
I wanted to say Thank you20 Dec 2005 09:53 GMT22
As a lot of you know  I joined the group not that long ago.  I wanted to
say thank you to everyone  for letting me rant, talk my head off, answering
my post and helping me when I needed it.
I wanted to say a special thanks to all those with the purrs and hugs
How to irritate your cats20 Dec 2005 06:47 GMT2
Go to your fabric stash.  Get some denim scraps.  Make some four inch
pillows and stuff them.  Add catnip. Sew up the end.  Put catnip pillows
in fridge for someone elses cats.  I thought my crew was going to
mutiny.  I almost had to kick them out of the room while I finished
More on Speckles20 Dec 2005 05:44 GMT18
I've been hesitant to write about Speckles - I feel much like the boy
who cried "Wolf!!"  You'll tire of my purr-pleas if *this* keeps up.
Speck was very ill last week; a visit to the vet Wednesday seemed to
make it worse.  I didn't expect her to last through the weekend.

Billy has been found!!!20 Dec 2005 04:17 GMT20
I just got a message from one of Billy's people - he was found by a
smart woman who is an animal rescuer, and was able to figure out immediately
that he didn't look like a stray dog, but was somebody's pet. So she looked
on Craigslist (a free, online want-ads service) and found the ...
How To Wrap A Cat . . .20 Dec 2005 03:41 GMT6
How To Wrap A Cat . . .
1. Clear large space on table for wrapping present.
2. Go to closet and collect bag in which present is contained, and shut

The Great Feline Bait and Switch20 Dec 2005 02:38 GMT6
The Great Feline Bait and Switch
This story is based on a dream I had last night. Not exactly a fun,
or good dream, but not exactly a nightmare.  I woke up and had
forgotten the beginning, so I had to make one up. Even the ending
Really close call - OT20 Dec 2005 02:35 GMT12
I've been through 2 days of absolute hell.  The worst thing imaginable
happened, my hard drive crashed and was un-openable.
It happened on Thursday evening at 5.  I wasn't online, I had just
finished reading all my downloaded messages and was going to play Zuma,
Re: Question - Cats and Eggnog20 Dec 2005 02:22 GMT8
I was just wondering - is non-alcoholic eggnog (specifically
Borden's) bad for cats? I just know that Little Feet will want to
sample a little when I open it.
Hugs and Purrs,
ID theory - stolen20 Dec 2005 01:44 GMT3
Stolen!
Look not to get into an argument about the merits of the either ID
theory or Darwin, but the below is not bad.
This is taken from the Geology group.
Ping Phil, Cheryl and other - The diarrhea is over - now what food to change for skin problems?19 Dec 2005 23:57 GMT4
As some of you may recall, my mom's cat has a sore on her right hind leg
that's been treated with (over the past 15 months or so) with two shots
of Depo Medrol (over a year apart), 2.5 mg/day Prednisolone (two weeks),
long term application of Tresaderm, Clavamox for several weeks ...
