What a week. :o(21 Dec 2005 05:35 GMT15
Sorry, this is a long vent and moan. My appologies, but I need to get it
off my chest. :o( I feel really bad asking this, but please could I have
some more purss for the Miles family and me?
As you know, HRFL is feeling lousy. He's better than he was, but still
Abelard's new bed21 Dec 2005 05:13 GMT8
The other day after Abelard returned from his long absence I was so glad to
see him that I got him a very soft, new, small bed. Of course he refused to
sleep in it. Eli was the first to test it out, but he's so big that every
time he stretched the bed would tip over and dump him ...
Time to go - keep those purrs coming folks!21 Dec 2005 02:20 GMT9
John wants us to go at one o'clock to make sure we have plenty of
time... so it's time to hit the road. I am SO SCARED right now...
please say a prayer for me in one hour's time, for me to be brave and
for the doctor to be sensible and to just give me a pass so I can quit
Can I have some purrs tomorrow21 Dec 2005 02:18 GMT18
Tomorrow's our first wedding anniversary! But that's not why I need
the purrs... I have to go and have another medical exam for my
immigration paperwork and I need purrs for it to just be a formality
and to go smoothly so it doesn't wreck our anniversary and so that we
Speaking of Being a "Target" OT21 Dec 2005 00:17 GMT58
WARNING:  contains content some might consider "racist"
Some people just display their ignorance in public and it bugs the heck out
of me, especially when they try to rope me into it.
I was at the little store down the street which was bought by a very nice
Little Boy - Part Time Nurse20 Dec 2005 23:27 GMT5
I stayed home sick today - stomach flu, it feels like. Light food
(nothing else stays down) and lots of bedrest. In fact, I've slept the
morning away already.
Little Feet has been sleeping close by, as has Dulce Mae, so I'm well

Card fun at work20 Dec 2005 22:41 GMT1
After we look over the cards, I take them to work and pin them up in
my cubicle.
One of the sales guys notices the cat theme and tells me, "I love MY
cat." I'll have to be sure and introduce him to RPCA.
Purrs from a purr-less20 Dec 2005 22:39 GMT20
It is 20 days since my Hugo Katt went to the Bridge and my house is totally
purr-less.
I read your requests for purrs and realise I've got no purrs to send,
being a useless purrer myself.
Abused kitty20 Dec 2005 22:15 GMT17
I'm sure Shamrock feels very abused tonight. His Depo shot came in
the mail today, and it's a big needle. Plus, he had to get his dose
of Clomicalm (daily) and today is his 2x weekly day for allergy shot.
I think we're going to give the Atopica drug a shot for his allergies
Shamrock might try a new treatment for his skin problems20 Dec 2005 20:31 GMT5
I talked to his dermatologist today to see if he can have another
Depo shot because he's having a flare-up.  Actually, he's been
having a flare-up for the last 3 weeks, but it isn't getting as bad
as quick as it usually does.  I attribute that to his allergy
Ten days20 Dec 2005 19:18 GMT23
It's been ten days since Frank made his final journey, but it feels like
an eternity. I can't believe it hasn't been longer.
He's still the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last
before I go to sleep. In bed is where I notice his absence the most. He
All shook up20 Dec 2005 18:18 GMT10
I must remember not to let myself be distracted by all the loving and
attentive cats who are attempting to help me in the kitchen.
I chop up the lettuce and shred the cheese for tacos. I set aside a
couple of bowls of lettuce for salads.
Various musings and thoughts20 Dec 2005 17:22 GMT5
As you might expect, this time of year is hard. I resisted putting
up anything Christmas-y around the house until a week ago. I was
going to just skip it again. Good excuse, the "kittens" would just
destroy it. Well, I put up a nativity and while they watched me
Nurse Waffles20 Dec 2005 16:22 GMT7
Now I don't know if it's just nerves about tomorrow's visit to the slaughter
house, sorry, the dental hospital....
... but to use a Geordie phrase..
Eeee, aah've got a proper case of the skittors...
