Recipe Needed19 Nov 2005 21:34 GMT8
I lost my mind for a moment (OK, a moment that has lasted 54 years), and

only other thing I'm cooking is my beloved Cajun cornbread stuffing - my
daughter will be cooking everything else, thankfully).
Feline Remote Psychic Surgery?19 Nov 2005 20:53 GMT35
Man oh man, those were mighty healing purrs that y'all sent for Abelard with
his tumor!
As of this morning it was GONE. Repeat: Not There Anymore.
What on earth happened to it?? Do we have a Feline Remote Psychic Surgeon in
Obnoxious little turd....19 Nov 2005 20:26 GMT31
Lilly-Whiskers has found a new use for my legs. I am an "interactive
climbing tree". She charges at me as fast as her little legs will carry
her, and tries to see how far up my body she can get.
It was cute the first time she did it and reached my shoulder, although
WASHING CLOTHES - Old style19 Nov 2005 13:52 GMT6
Many years ago a Kentucky grandmother gave a new bride the

1. Bilt fire in backyard to heat kettle of rain water.
2. Set tubs so smoke wont blow in eyes if wind is pert.
"I got it!"19 Nov 2005 07:00 GMT18
Another story about my cats.
This time Shamrock. He just taught himself to play fetch. 'Bout
time.  He stole the nose pads with a little black dot nose from one
of my pair of footies that have little kitty faces glued on to a
Clingy... every minute19 Nov 2005 06:31 GMT3
Since I got back from my short trip Persia has been so ultra-clingy I don't
know what to do.
It's okay that she wants to snuggle when we sleep.  But she's at the window
when I'm out, meowing when I come back in (I'm never gone more than 15
Update on the Rubble Family19 Nov 2005 04:15 GMT4
We've had a cold snap here - in the teens-twenties F - so in  order to *not*
blow a fuse (or worse, start a fire) by running multiple space heaters on
the back porch for Betty, Barney & Bam-Bam, we moved them into our bedroom.
Kept them in the carrier for a couple of hours, until ...

Article on Asthma in Cats19 Nov 2005 03:24 GMT52
People that smoke around their cats and force them to inhale those toxic
fumes are irresponsible, ignorant jerks that don't deserve the blessing
of a feline companion:
Are asthmatic cats allergic to humans?
Spring Musings from Down Under OT19 Nov 2005 03:13 GMT10
Jeanette said she liked to get stories from 'down under' at this time of the
year -  so here's what is going on in our garden.
It's rose time, yellow, white and pink bush roses are out and dark purple
peony roses  too - the lilacs and snowball trees are finished and have
Dave Gerecke19 Nov 2005 00:46 GMT1
A couple of delightful posts from Mark reminded me of the past, when we
often had hilarious posts from the three Daves and Mark.  Dave Yehudah is
gone, and we hear from David Stephenson once in a blue moon, but I haven't
seem anything from Dave Gerecke in a loooong time.  Anybody ...
