Here's something fun to waste a few minutes!  You can make her (him?)
purr and meow too. :)

here we go again ::sigh::22 Nov 2005 18:43 GMT23
The final scab has fallen off Lilly-Whiskers tail where it was cut by
the bastard that tortured her, and it appears that the very end of the
tail bone is exposed. I have a feeling that when she sees the vet
tomorrow afternoon, he's going to recommend partial tail amputation.
To Boldly go where no Egg has gone  Before, OT22 Nov 2005 18:23 GMT8
This will certainly drive you mad.   One annoying feature - I can't find a
start again  button and have to reload the darn thing.

Was I complaining?!22 Nov 2005 15:20 GMT1
Ooops, I said Persia was being too clingy.  She must have read the ng, so
she spent the night curled up on the afghan on the couch.  I woke up - you
see what time it is in the US?  Not yet 4AM.  I spent the entire night in
bed alone!  I woke up and called to her a couple of times ...

To all our rpca friends -- I cannot tell you how much we all have
appreciated your kind comments, wishes, and purrs and purrayers on the loss
of our dear Omar boy:  Thank you all so very much from the bottom of our
hearts (both human and furry); with all your candles, lovely ...

CANCEL: New RPCA Map22 Nov 2005 12:48 GMT15
Just to re-iterate, when I made the new map, I thought Jill's RPCA map was
no longer working. I was mistaken, Jill's map is working fine:

Since there is no point having two RPCA maps, I've deleted the 'new' map.
Sophie - cat burglar22 Nov 2005 06:23 GMT27
This morning I was sitting in bed trying to wake up while I shaved with my
electric razor. Sophie climbed up beside me and started nosing around the
razor case. After a moment she marched to the edge of the bed and jumped
down - and I noticed something in her mouth. It was the ...
Update on Abelard's condition22 Nov 2005 04:56 GMT9
I didn't want to wait until a vet was available, the swelling was getting
too big. I started him on amoxycillin and got a sterile hypodermic
needle/syringe from Gloria (she has a case of them), shaved the hair off a
small spot on his shoulder, washed it with betadyne, stuck that ...
Mom is worried, need some Purrs (OT)22 Nov 2005 03:13 GMT23
Mom called me yesterday and said my dad is "not doing well".
I've already acknowledged he is in early stages of altzheimers.  He's a
lymphoma survivor and has also had two surgeries for blockages in his legs,
one of which didn't "take" so they did a vein graft from one leg and
[TW] Severely injured dog finds its way home22 Nov 2005 02:38 GMT3
Pancho, a 7-month-old Chihuahua in Perry County, Tennessee, was
missing for 7 days, but finally found his way home.  After he
disappeared, his owners searched for him without success.  He found
his way home after a week, dragging himself along with his front legs.
Posted 2 pics of Duffy and Holly on the scratching post22 Nov 2005 02:35 GMT8
I just posted 2 pics of Duffy and Holly to alt.binaries.pictures.animals.
They're definitely not great pictures, but they show my furry twosome at
play.

Sending out purrs22 Nov 2005 01:39 GMT3
I hate to send blanket purrs, but I am having computer troubles.  I
post once, then my computer freezes.  Reboot, post, reboot . . . I'm
going to have to RTFM, of all things.
The kitties, however, do not have to spend their time cursing at
kittens22 Nov 2005 00:47 GMT1
We have not had any kittens for ages,  so we were delighted to welcome 4
babies on the 13 th. It was the first litter for Mary-anne,  she is a
chocolate Oriental variant.  She was mated to a chocolate Oriental long hair
male,  she had a quick easy birth. We have a choc Oriental ...
First Holiday Card!22 Nov 2005 00:13 GMT4
What a sweet little kitten on the card!  From (Liz?) and Andy.  Sorry, it's
hard to read.  But Persia & I thank you!  The holidays are already getting
more bright!
I've got to get a decent pic of Persia so I can do my email cards.  Sorry I
