| Cockscomb Wildlife Sanctuary | 29 Nov 2005 04:00 GMT | 5 |
Tonight I saw a show about the jaguars at the Cockscomb sanctuary in Belize, and I thought about Helen who used to go there. Tonight's show focused on Alan Rabinowitz, who founded the sanctuary. In fact, there was another show about him on the same channel last week, that went

| Yet another Update on the "Rubble" kits | 29 Nov 2005 03:40 GMT | 4 |
Betty & Bam-Bam will eat dry, but Barney screams for canned! At first, when I mixed them, Barney spit out the dry kibble :(. But now, he does eat it... but still prefers the canned. As is their duty, being hoolikittens, they get into, under, over and around

| Reasons why kittens are so cute.... | 29 Nov 2005 01:11 GMT | 13 |
I have figured that the main reasons kittens (i.e. Lilly Whiskers) are so cute, is so that 1. You don't kill them after they've tried to kill you by gassing out your study by using the litter box.

| Lunatic | 28 Nov 2005 18:01 GMT | 2 |
I haven't posted much recently, so ya'll have missed this past year of cat antics but one stuck out yesterday that tickled me. Tic (Jody calls her Luna, I call her tic-tic) was outside for a couple hours yesterday. I walked outside and she came waltzing across the drive with a

| Urgh! Cat Frustration..... | 28 Nov 2005 17:20 GMT | 14 |
A few months ago the cats discovered that our shower leaks and the wood trim by the tub is rotting. What fun it is to shred the wood AND the drywall. What started as a finger hole is now progressing to be about 6 inches tall into the drywall. They can just about crawl into the ...

| Whitebait OT | 28 Nov 2005 12:06 GMT | 18 |
Before telling this story I need to explain about whitebait. They are a New Zealand delicacy, tiny little fish caught in shoals with nets in certain seasons, usually near river mouths. I have seen Chinese whitebait but don't like them as much as the New Zealand variety.

| Hi-res kitty shots | 28 Nov 2005 11:53 GMT | 10 |
Santa Claus brought me a brand new digital camera, and he came a month early... I was playing with it yesterday and taking shots of my two favourite models, Scouty and Silver while they were washing each other, and then later when Silver was playing with the camera strap...

| Fluffy SP is unwell | 28 Nov 2005 07:01 GMT | 15 |
Poor Fluffy, she picked the weekend to get some nasty bladder infection. I had to take her to the vet on Sunday as she was spending most of her time in the litter box. He gave her an injection and I have to give her pills for a week, something

| My Third Essayby Qui Gun Kit | 28 Nov 2005 04:55 GMT | 3 |
Why is it that something that you do will be ok with one of the gang and get you a face whipping by your own mother? Cap'n Pine Cone esq. has been teaching me SO much. He taught me to grab the d-thing by the tail and hang on as he runs through the house. He taught me to sneak ...

| Cleaning out the litter box | 28 Nov 2005 03:59 GMT | 9 |
I think I have got control over what my two Devon Rex cats, Teti and Tinùviel, eat and drink. They are indoor cats, and by that they don't go stealing food anywhere else. So, after having taken care of them for about four years now, I am

Miss Lilly-Whiskers was officially adopted by clan Miles today. All her paperwork has been signed off by Cats Protection, and I am now the proud slave of a 2lb fur ball. :o) The other cats seem happy about it too. Tiger was playing "chase and

| Another boat adventure for Cinder and Rosie | 28 Nov 2005 02:57 GMT | 2 |
This weekend Jim and I went by boat to a marina about 20 miles from here. At our speed, that is about 3 hours. We planned to take Cinder and Rosie, but not sure about Friday's weather forecast of wind and rain. That could make crossing the bay a little rough.
