| The Holidays are for cats too!! | 08 Nov 2005 01:08 GMT | 3 |
My big brofurs and sisfurs told me so. They said every year lots of our feline friends all over the world share cards and sometimes fur and shiney things that fall out of envelopes and once in a while even somefin to eat! They said both Meowmy and Paw get excited every day when

| Is everyone in the midwest ok after the tornadoes? | 07 Nov 2005 22:44 GMT | 4 |
I just heard about the extent of the tornados in Kentucky and Indiana. Are all of our cat folks in that area ok?

| Smudge Update | 07 Nov 2005 20:33 GMT | 9 |
(also posted to Catslaves) You may recall Smudge (who owns Joyce Wermont) was attacked by two pit bulls the other night and ended up with a few really severe bite wounds (along with many minor bites and other injuries)

| She thinks she's sneaky... | 07 Nov 2005 19:45 GMT | 4 |
I get up in the middle of the night (like now) and one of those big sized crinkly mylar balls is right there by the couch... uh huh, wasn't there last night when I went to bed. So who has been scooting it around playing when mommy was sleeping, hmmm? Persia looks at me all ...

| Miss Whiskers update Friday | 07 Nov 2005 19:45 GMT | 33 |
She saw the vet this morning, and it turns out that part of the problem last night was probably a bout of colic from the fact that she was wormed this week. She has different antibiotics and has also been sent homw with some pain

| Advice needed for agressive cat | 07 Nov 2005 06:23 GMT | 7 |
Our newest addition, Cleo, is terrorizing Smokey. Some days are better than others, but Smokey is not handling it too well. Cleo does this mostly when we're not watching, so it's difficult to know what's happening. I suspect it's mostly a territorial issue, but there are also ...

| Dulce Mae's next step | 07 Nov 2005 02:59 GMT | 2 |
Tonight Dulce Mae took the next step towards being a housecat (she was abandoned a few years back, and we had to train her back into being an indoor cat). As I was making the bed, she started in with the "must protect the bed

| Anyone hear from Helen S? | 07 Nov 2005 02:09 GMT | 7 |
Helen wrote to me some time ago to say she couldn't get Internet access and didn't know when she would, and she was having dental problems and then Vernon had suspected kidney stones. I haven't heard from her since those couple of messages. I wrote to her a couple of days ago to ...

| Smiley Muffin Cat News videos | 06 Nov 2005 23:57 GMT | 1 |
These are hysterical. There were only three ever made by talented artist Julie Klausner. The cat herself is a real fatty! (You will need the Apple Quicktime movie player to view these videos.) http://www.channel102.net/show.php?show=17

| Thank you for all the purrs | 06 Nov 2005 22:20 GMT | 11 |
The purrs seem to be working, touch wood. Miss Lilly-Wiskers (yup, we didn't stick with just "Lilly" *VBG*) is very much on the mend. She spent the best part of this afternoon chasing a ping pong ball and beating up my dog, Bonnie. Did I mention that Lilly is the best part of

| Natasha Scared Me Today | 06 Nov 2005 22:08 GMT | 16 |
Natasha was doing her own thing with the food and water dishes this morning, and I was trying to not trip over her. As I was about to leave for a substitute teaching job, I saw Natasha fall over, get up and take 2 steps, and fall over again. She tried to follow me through

| Growing pains | 06 Nov 2005 21:17 GMT | 4 |
As has been brought to my attention (I didn't realise it myself until my mum came to visit and exclaimed when she saw him), Caliban is fast growing into a hefty chunk of a catman. I suspect he will always be my baby, though. He still cts very kittenish, and I think his brain ...

| A good place to sit | 06 Nov 2005 20:43 GMT | 4 |
When I get back from the grocery store, I start unpacking groceries, sodas, and whatnot. This usually involves my sitting on the kitchen floor, in front of the open fridge, and rearranging things while I add new groceries. It
