Abelard has a tumor15 Nov 2005 21:52 GMT43
Just got back from TED and I'm still in shock. How can a it be, so early in
his life? I noticed it yesterday, a lump on his shoulder. It was clearly not
normal so off to TED we went. He doesn't want to remove it unless it gets
bigger, so I'll be watching it closely.
That stare15 Nov 2005 20:38 GMT1
Does your cat stare at you? Of course. That's what cats do. Ever wonder why?
Flippy has just added a short article to her great website, Flippy's Cat
Page, that tries to answer that question. There are also photos of three
kitties who've mastered the art of staring at humans. ...

Lily got a bath, too!15 Nov 2005 18:15 GMT2
She had clumps of poopie under her tail, and she was even better about it
that her brother was. Only a few low moans as I lowered her into the water,
then she was fine with it. Of course, Tommy was there supervising, and
Abelard also managed to get himself shut into the bathroom ...

Purrs for all who need them.  I've been gone since Thursday and got back
home today.  Tired, but happy!
And Persia is happy and Peaches is happy!  And the vet where I boarded them
didn't forget to give be back their food, Persia's collar or anything else!
Hungry, hungry15 Nov 2005 13:31 GMT12
Boyfriend has seemed hungry today, and he has already eaten three pouches of
wet food, so when he asked me for more a while ago I decided to give him
some dry kibble.
He has a dish for his wet food and one for his dry, in a different part of
Polar Bear Cub, Mate, or Prey?  A wow! video!15 Nov 2005 12:12 GMT9
Polar bears are the largest living land carnivore, with males reaching a
weight of up to 650 kg (1,433 lbs.) and a length up to nearly 3 m (9.9 ft).
The major social interaction for polar bears is between females and their

Peeking outagain, but not me this time15 Nov 2005 05:34 GMT6
Marble, a.k.a. PsychoCatFromHell, is a PITA of a night time. The cats have
the freedom to come and go during the day, but at night they are *in*.
Marble hates this. He is nocturnal. I wouldn't mind, but he has decided that
the rest of the household should be nocturnal too... Then ...
Boyfriend helps meowmie get fuel15 Nov 2005 05:15 GMT9
I have a woodburner so I constantly need kindling for it, a lot of which I
can get from my own garden as I have a lot of trees which shed branches.
I'm beginning to run out, though.
Next door house is empty, with a big overgrown garden with lots of fallen

VENT Did you ever have one of those nights....15 Nov 2005 03:53 GMT8
I spent the day cleaning despite a bad headache (it actually seemed to
help) and everything was all nice and clean and vacuumed and neutral
smelling. Then I put some laundry in and sat down to grade. Took a
break and made a nice piece of salmon in marinade I had bought. I

I've missed. Or replies to my posts that I haven't acknowledged, sorry, I
hope to catch up one day.
GAS GAS GAS!!!! (Gag warning)14 Nov 2005 21:59 GMT23
Lilly Whiskers has a completely toxic a.s. She is the only cat I know
who can use the litter box and everyone, including the dog, runs for
cover. Infact, her poop is *SO* toxic, she could single pawed replace
the UK biological warfare capeability. I know what it is (she's
