Visit to PetCo (OT)16 Nov 2005 20:02 GMT19
While on our trip, John (my LLL) and I were driving around checking things
out.  We passed a PetCo and I said, "I want to go in and look at the little
critters."  He said, "You'll just want to take them all home!"  Well, yeah,
but I know I can't so hush!  So we went in.

wandering along with my children on our walk, what did I see but AN ORANGE

I had to shave his bum because he was getting matty fur there and I
hadn't been able to locate his brush for a while.. I think he's still
mad at me though.

GW: Poor Vernon16 Nov 2005 18:56 GMT1
Poor Vernon has been in bed all day with a horrendous migraine. So for lunch
today, I just finished off the last of the spicy lentil & vegetable soup I
made yesterday. My soup is.. err... known for it's ...err... 'quality' when
it comes to inducing digestive effects.
PING: MMJ!16 Nov 2005 17:31 GMT1
Did you and yours make it through yesterday's rough weather ok?
Louisville TV kept going on and on about all the funnel clouds and
tornado warnings up your way.
Fortunately for folks in my area, we got the lightning, we got the
Scarlett, the scavenger hunter16 Nov 2005 15:07 GMT8
Scarlett is one of those cats that "finds" things downstairs, and
brings them upstairs to the livingroom where I am.
Lately, she's brought me a sock, a couple of empty toilet paper
rolls, a full toilet paper roll (not shredded, just bitten), a rock

I was looking through my wardrobe for a fresh blouse late yesterday.   It's
just your ordinary wardrobe, with a higher top shelf stretching across  the
top of the clothes rail.
I had taken off my blouse preparatory to chosing another.

More storms16 Nov 2005 08:39 GMT3
We are having storms in Scandinavia, too. Some people have been killed
in Norway and Sweden, none is Finland so far. Some 10,000-20,000 are
without electricity in Sweden and Finland, flooding in Norway. It's
supposed to die down by tomorrow. Purrs for all affected, hope our

Tornados all around16 Nov 2005 04:58 GMT10
Nothing hit right here, thankfully, but I did run over to the neighbors' to
hide out for a while. I was kind of scared on the way back because the view
was different from up the road, as it would be if something had blown down
or away. Sure enough, a big cedar tree was demolished ...

After weeks of getting by on a very clunky old machine MH (My Hoomin)
has taken delivery of his repaired laptop. Not that there's room for it
on his lap 'cos I'm there (when I want to be that is).

to shut down the PC for now, so it doesn't get fried, and take cover as best
I can.
