He shoulda done it weeks ago23 Oct 2005 18:02 GMT7
Stinky is more himself this morning than I have seen him since Dante
came.  He has some of the old bounce in his step, his tail is up in
the air, his eyes are button-bright, and he is looking at me and his
Grandma with the old sweet affection again.

Water, water everywhere!23 Oct 2005 17:59 GMT12
I was woken up at 2am by a horrible thunderstorm with lightning that
was right on top of us... I turned on the tv and watched for awhile
while John slept, then I went back to sleep, only to be woken up again
at 4am by another one (or the same one coming back again...) The rain

Something in the way they move . . .23 Oct 2005 08:05 GMT2
Kittens, that is.  I just realized that may be half (or even more) of
the ridiculous cuteness of kittens, is the way they move.  They're so
agile and awkward, confident and tentative, all the same time. ;)

Elevator Butt to the Extreme!23 Oct 2005 03:16 GMT2
Persia has dandruff by the base of her tail.  I've been putting some
Dermcaps liquid in her food which definitely helps.  But a little while ago
she was in my lap and I spotted some dandruff at the end of her back.  I
gave her some extra scritches in that area and she looked at me ...
I Believe23 Oct 2005 01:01 GMT112
If you're as nutty as I am and watch the Red necked Comedy Tour, you'll know
that there is one part called "I Believe." In it the comedians take turns
giving comedic versions of life as they'd like it. I got thinking last night
and came up with a couple of personal "I Believes." ...
Buster goes kookoo for taco stuff23 Oct 2005 00:31 GMT12
First off, Buster had been out for a day and a night. Senyah (The "I
am not a cat person" lady - yeah right!) asks me where Buster is, and
tells me, "I kinda miss the little fart."
So I open the door this morning, and Buster comes running up the walk,

I found a good use for those little busy messy kittens.  I decided to use
the snot's cuteness and am teaching him how to get the stuff that I want.
He may shape up eventually.  Try it with your useless kitten, it may work
for you too.

My Third Essay by Qui Gun Kit22 Oct 2005 21:49 GMT1
Mr. Pine Cone <WHAP> (that's Cap'n you nit) has taken me in paw and is
teaching me how to be a proper hoolikitten.  I am learning how to spell, how
to ignore the fat wench, and how to get what Mr. Pine Cone <WHAP> (I'm not
telling you again) says I should want.  He says if I work ...
new toy22 Oct 2005 19:28 GMT5
Tonight on the way home I stopped by WalMart to get a new insert for
the turbo scratcher. After having the thing for years, I finally have
a cat, Spotty, who actually uses the thing for scratching. She
actually wore out the cardboard insert over the weekend, and has been

Funny thing.  I had to take a "psych" test (online).  You know, where they
ask you if you'd steal pens or whatever and would you report someone if they
were stealing?  And do you ever get stressed?  Of course I get stressed; who
doesn't?  And of course I'd report someone who was ...
Hurricane Wilma? (OT)22 Oct 2005 06:23 GMT11
What's it doing now?  I know it went to a Category 5 over night but I can't
seem to catch the news to tell me where they *think* it's going.  Last I
heard was towards Mexico but it's *expected* to do a turn to the northeast?

I had to turn the furnace on today22 Oct 2005 06:10 GMT3
::sigh:: I had to turn the furnace on today. It must be getting close to
winter! Lily has never seen me go down to the basement, so when she noticed
I had gone behind a closed door and was clumping down the stairs noisily,
she started to yoooowwwllll! Poor baby, I turned the ...
