Inspired by Marina's lovely series of Caliban and Miranda, I managed to capture C being cuddly with Bandit (at last). If just clicking on the link doesn't get you right there, try highlighting

| Miss Priss goes to TED | 01 Oct 2005 19:00 GMT | 3 |
She hasn't tried to 'escape' since the last time - guess she realized it's nicer inside (and warmer, too, we've been getting down into the 40's F at night). She didn't want to get into the carrier - mainly because Ping was already in there (IT'S A BOX!!!!!), but once I got Ping ...

| Oh, Persia spotted SOMETHING | 01 Oct 2005 18:32 GMT | 3 |
Last night. The weather has been great here; it was about 65F last night early when I caught Persia in the open window. She hadn't made a sound up to that point but I noticed when I got up her tail was the size of another small cat! What? Persia? Why the puffy tail? I went ...

| Roundworms | 01 Oct 2005 15:31 GMT | 19 |
<SIGH> I knew something like this might happen. Jessie defecated outside of the litter box this morning, and in the feces was a roundworm. It looked like this, except it was a bit more translucent and had bloody streaks in it.

| Blinkers | 01 Oct 2005 13:55 GMT | 2 |
Off to Corfu tomorrow night, could do with some cute but hungry kitten blinkers. I've been warned by other half to keep my distance, and not announce "Soft Brit Female Alert" this time, as last time they not only peed in my shoes which were drying out on the balcony (nice aroma, I

| Brandy Update (long!) | 01 Oct 2005 13:31 GMT | 6 |
I was so hoping to have my baby girl with us tonight, but the vet wanted her to stay the night for some pain-management. My poor little Brandy-candy! She had to have seven teeth extracted, it was that bad. Way back in the mouth, so they were hard to catch when she was examined

| Over-Weight, No Claws, Yet Bags Errant Bird | 01 Oct 2005 13:28 GMT | 4 |
Beauty was making a noise, apparently jumping upon cardboard boxes in the garage. I opened the door connecting the kitchen to the garage, and saw my fatty catty chasing a little bird that had apparently wandered/gotten under a slightly open garage door.

| Chester's blood work and dental schedule | 01 Oct 2005 13:23 GMT | 13 |
Chester went in for blood and urine tests in advance of his dental work on Tuesday the 4th of October. All his results were great, some even improved from a couple of years ago. We have a healthy nine year old cat on our hands ... though I worry like crazy about the anesthetic.

| Good news for me (OT) | 01 Oct 2005 13:07 GMT | 12 |
No, I didn't win another year supply of prescription cat food LOL Got a letter from my apartment management. Because I have lived here so long (since 1998) they are not going to increase my rent when my lease is up at the end of this year. I also get to choose one item each from A ...

| Ferals always suprise you... | 01 Oct 2005 08:17 GMT | 2 |
I've been introducing another new dog into the house these last 2 weeks as I'm looking after him for a few months for my friend. A great big 18 month old black labrador called Shadow. Inital reaction from the cats was "oh f*ck, a big dog" and everyone ran

| Leading the Parade-- Deja Vu | 01 Oct 2005 03:09 GMT | 5 |
When Mimi was still with us, there used to be this routine everytime I did the laundry. Mimi always helped of course. And once Stinky got here, he had to follow, because he wasn't going to be left out of anything. So I always found myself leading a little cat parade, all

| Jane carrie Chester - picture | 01 Oct 2005 03:02 GMT | 8 |
Karen and Suz gave me the idea to photograph Jane carrying her fluffy budy around. Here it is at http://community.webshots.com/photo/442230722/464134645kRAOJW She was holding him a little higher this time. As she carries him, her arms get
