Hatred for cats04 Oct 2005 12:58 GMT63
I am shocked that this (American) person takes every opportunity to kill
cats.  A relatively new person on my poultry group says:
"I dislike cats with an intensity you can't imagine as it is. If they cross
my property line, and I catch them, they are dead. may have had something
Good news for Treating Persia's Dandruff04 Oct 2005 09:04 GMT7
I checked with her vet since she had bladder surgery in 2004 (stones and a
benign tumor).  Dermcaps is perfectly acceptable; he says it won't hurt her
a bit on her special x/d diet.  This is good since I have practically a full
bottle of the liquid and another unopened bottle.

I had an unannounced visit from my younger brother yesterday, complete with
his children Charlotte (5),  Thomas (3), and Alexander (13 months.)
I answered the doorbell and there they were!  Andrew (my brother)  said
"You're babysitting.."  My heart sank, but fortunately he was ...

What is the phrase...04 Oct 2005 03:35 GMT26
What is the phrase you most use to address each of your cats? It can be
the nickname you call them or whatever words you're more likely to say
to each cat. To make it fair, let's go for one positive and one
negative. I'll go first.

Cleo (top right) only arrived because she thought was missing out on the
girls snoozing spot. They disbanded about 30 seconds ...
Spotty and Sammy in the cupboard04 Oct 2005 01:06 GMT7
I need to set this story up a little by explaining my pantry
cupboards. There are upper and lower cupboards, which are separated
about chest high. The upper cupboard which has two fixed shelves,
while the lower has several pull out drawers, and both upper and lower
My Buggy Boys :(03 Oct 2005 22:39 GMT2
Well, both of them do have fleas, which Dante obviously brought in.  I
wish I had spotted them a little earlier-- like BEFORE I BROUGHT HIM
HOME.  Oh well, What's done is done.  My heart is breaking for poor
Stinky who has never known such an indignity in all the years he's

A dog's top 10 pet peeves about humans
1. Blaming your farts on me... not funny... not funny at all !!!
2. Yelling at me for barking.. I'M A DOG, YOU IDIOT!
3. Taking me for a walk, then not letting me check stuff out. Exactly
putting jas & boys to bed03 Oct 2005 21:58 GMT3
Just finished our bedtime routine. Drag two little boys kicking and
screaming, into bedroom. Jas follows. shove two little boys kicking and
screaming into Pj's. Jas inspects imperiously from the road map rug on the
floor. Follow two little boys to bathroom (they love toothpaste). ...

She beat the living daylights out of me this morning, the little Juvie. I
had to go it aslone with the meds. I could not get Louie's tuchus out of bed
to save his skin, (I was going to write lazy tuchus, but then I caught him
reading over my shoulder) and got to work by the skin of ...
OH @#$!03 Oct 2005 16:43 GMT21
I was playing with Dante, and I happened to look under his chin, and I
definitely saw something-- moving.  Damn!  As mundane as it may sound,
I have NEVER had a cat with any parasites before--- OK, a cat I had
when I was a kid had ear mites.  But I have had no recent experience

Nina's Busy Night03 Oct 2005 09:57 GMT9
This morning, I woke up to find that Nina had been tirelessly

last night, and there had been a moderately full roll of paper towels
