| Hanneke update (OT) | 05 Oct 2005 23:56 GMT | 10 |
She had a stone bruise that got abcessed. It should be OK. She was also checked for pregnancy and found to be carrying a fetus! We didn't know until today. Many thanks for the purrs.

| Pippin's getting old(er) | 05 Oct 2005 23:56 GMT | 16 |
I noticed Pippin limping a few days ago, then again Sunday and last night. Not all the time, and he was putting weight on the leg (left rear). We headed off to TED today. She thinks it's arthritis, she could feel it in the hock joint. So we're starting him on Cosequin ...

At last a sensible article about the difference between UK & USA methods of keeping cats indoor/outdoor and why. http://www.messybeast.com/ukcats.htm Tweed

| The mighty huntress strikes again | 05 Oct 2005 19:00 GMT | 6 |
Considering she is now a lady of advancing years, losing the odd fang, this seems to have no effect on her hunting. The Mighty Huntress has just dispatched a large adult mole. *Excellent* - she has earned her keep tody - many is the time I've gone over on my weak ankle on the ...

| If I may make so bold... | 05 Oct 2005 15:59 GMT | 28 |
...Could I please ask for some purrs? I've been rotten ill with pneumonia. With daily physiotherapy, I'm definitely on the mend, but I'm still shockingly weak, and can't even sit up for long.

| Purrs for my Brandy | 05 Oct 2005 14:40 GMT | 27 |
I don't know if she's got a whopping hairball waiting to make it's presence more, ah, public, or if it's something more sinister... I know she has an appetite. Yesterday she marched right up to Louie and took a bite out of his peanut butter sandwich. He did not offer it to her, but

| If I may | 05 Oct 2005 04:55 GMT | 37 |
Could I ask for purrs for Bob? Yesterday we had to take Bob Marley (ferrett) to the emergency vet. He had lots of blood in his urine. It turned out to be a bladder infection. The vet gave him amoxicillin for the infection. My little

| Simon's Excellent Adventure | 05 Oct 2005 03:46 GMT | 12 |
Simon is the older Siamese I adopted a week ago Friday, and his first few days were a litle ragged tho he appeared to want to trust me. Contacts with the other cats were tentative at best; disappointing since he was supposed to used to others. And he would run some when I

| Chester dental - update #1 | 04 Oct 2005 22:36 GMT | 3 |
I just phoned over and he's waking up from the anesthetic now. He made it through okay and there were no extractions, which is good. I'm not allowed to pick him up though until 6 PM MST - that's over 4 hours away!!!! Thanks for thinking of him.

| Chester's dental is here! | 04 Oct 2005 22:27 GMT | 11 |
I've taken the food away now as Chester prepares for his dental tomorrow, Tuesday, AM. Any spare purrs would be *greatly* appreciated for my angelic little boy to have no problems with the anesthetic and to recover quickly from his ordeal. He's such a gentle soul that I hate to ...

| Scott's Cat says "Hi" | 04 Oct 2005 21:58 GMT | 3 |
I don't have a new pic, but hoping to get one soon. Scott McKenzie's fluffy cat Spider waves hello. He says Spider wakes him up by patting him on the face on the neck, too. He (Scott, not Spider) was in Italy doing a concert and caught a cold so he was down and out for a bit; ...

| My baby's home!!! | 04 Oct 2005 20:29 GMT | 5 |
We brought Brandy home this morning: brighter-eyed, impatient, and bombed out of her mind. They told us that she's been eating like a horse, and I believe them; unless I just have a bad case of wishful thinking, I swear on my mother's dentures that she looks fatter now than

| Claudius: Growing Pains | 04 Oct 2005 14:20 GMT | 2 |
He's been a bit bitey lately, which I thought he'd grown out of as he's become clawey instead, fully living up to his abreviated name, and now I know why: he's teething! Large fangs are taking the places of the baby needles and his upper canines are currently being forced back ...
