From No House to the Big House
Chesterfield, Virginny (Times-Dispatch) -- Katrina lies on the ground next
to her brother Phillippe, staring off into the distance. The storm for which
she was named has robbed her of everything - including her owner, who

Animal experts....?17 Oct 2005 13:15 GMT31
Hi everyone...a good idea just posted by tweed (ha ha, blaming this one on
you!!)
As we all love to help, share our knowledge etc here, and aren't phobic
about people mentioning AOTC (animals other than cats) would everyone who
Surface?17 Oct 2005 12:30 GMT18
Does anyone watch the new series Surface? I finally caught an episode
tonight after hearing so much about it from friends and others. Just
an observation about the baby creature. When the boy was "petting"
it, it sounded like it purred. :)

The Mighty Huntress strikes again17 Oct 2005 12:00 GMT9
This time she caught another predator which dared to inhabit her territory.
I have just unclamped a very, very unhappy weasel from feline jaws...
As a weasel is very capable of dispatching a rabbit, so I have had words
with The Mighty Huntress a nasty nip, but she would have none ...
HK: A fun new trick17 Oct 2005 05:33 GMT12

I've a fun new game: Hiding The Soap.
I fetch the bar off the washbasin onto the floor and pull up the
bathmat and bury it underneath.
Feliway expereience?17 Oct 2005 04:37 GMT17
Just curious about your Feliway experiences?
Cleo is coming back from the big snip tomorrow, so I bought a couple of
Feliway diffusers in honour of her return. I thought it might help with her
testiness, especially since she will be under the weather for a few days. I
Secret bed17 Oct 2005 02:50 GMT3
Boyfriend is secretive, he likes his bed to be out of sight.  I bought him a
new wicker bed a few weeks ago and lined it with a new blankie and put in
under the kitchen table, unseen because of the tablecloth dangling down.
I was just wondering where he was as I hadn't seen him ...
Extremely frustrating lost cat story17 Oct 2005 02:18 GMT13
My cat, a very distinctive looking and large one, ran into the woods
about three weeks ago.  Ever since I've set live traps where I last saw
him, only to trap one unsuspecting raccoon after another.
Well today I get a response to one of my placards.  A college co-ed in
Motivation (a tale of a dirty bedroom)16 Oct 2005 20:42 GMT3
I stubbed my foot the other night while running to the bathroom to toss my
cookies, so, feeling in a reasonably good mood today, I decided to some of
that late fall cleaning that I've been putting off.  First thing, I find a
cat toy that I'd bought the cats and forgotten.  Merlin ...
Tiddler (aka Corfu kitty) pics16 Oct 2005 15:55 GMT5
Not sure if these links will work, but here's hoping.  Just noticed how
sore her eyes looked, wonder if she had flu as well as a bad leg, poor
baby.  Have more pics, will post when I sort them out, not really sure
why I still feel attached to her, I shall never see her again, sob.
D-Thing16 Oct 2005 14:39 GMT13
My aunt called in earlier today, she had her D-thing with her. This is the
first time Baggy has ever seen a dog in his house, he really didn't know
what to make of it. Snoopy of course has seen it all before and she kept out
of the way.
Personal Purrs, please16 Oct 2005 13:43 GMT25
I don't want to go into it, but I'm having some difficulties on the family
front.  I could use some generic family purrs.  Thanks!

Birdies! (sort of OT)16 Oct 2005 10:47 GMT3
I was sitting out back for the "yard sale" (total bust, by the way; poorly
advertised and not soon enough, I guess; I finally brought my stuff back
inside).  Persia was sitting in her KittyWalk.  There were birds all over
the place!  Persia got a little disconcerted by this; she's ...
