| How's this for a negative statement about cat food? | 19 Oct 2005 18:38 GMT | 12 |
I decided to throw out the rest of the old dry kibble that Vino hadn't been eating. I figured I may as well dump it on the side of the road in front of the house for any stray cats or dogs to eat instead of putting it in the garbage.

Is everyone okay after all the rain we've had for the past week? I've been lucky as we live in an area that does not flood. I work at a home improvement store and we sold out of sump pumps, wet vacs, and dehumidifiers.

| Gonna have a yard sale (OT) | 19 Oct 2005 03:39 GMT | 26 |
I was told last year I can't have a yard sale. Suddenly the manager of my apartment complex has declared we can have a "community" yard sale. Okay. Been tagging stuff to set out as soon as the sun rises. Mostly clothes, but books are going for 50 cents each. A coffee maker, a ...

I started a new Yahoo album for the cats, now that Yahoo offers unlimited disk space for free. There's a pic of Frank taken yesterday. He doesn't look so bad, does he? http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/frankiennikki/album?.dir=/f923&.src=ph

| The General has been found after nearly a month | 18 Oct 2005 20:23 GMT | 22 |
A poor family across the woods he ran into had been seeing him in their storage sheds over the past few weeks and feeding him the occasional can of cat food. Finally, they saw one of my placards offering a $500 reward and thought an investment in a live trap from Lowe's would ...

Baggy makes me laugh, every day when I refresh all the water bowls he follows me round sampling each one. Also at other times when either cat is thirsty, they'll walk past one or two bowls of water and drink out of another even though the contents are identical. It's difficult being ...

| why? | 18 Oct 2005 15:58 GMT | 2 |
I'm not fond of the kit, but why oh why does the fat wench call him Qui Gun Quakers and quack at him? It's not like he's got much in the way of dignity, but this undermines what little he's got. The stupid kit thinks it's funny.

| Some progress (OT) | 18 Oct 2005 13:18 GMT | 38 |
I've spent the best part of two days working on cleaning my kitchen, starting with washing dishes, pots and pans, and in another two days at this pace, I'll have done them all (including the ones I use in the meantime) and be able to start on the counters. That job looks like it ...

Whinge to you in the UK. I know, in the face of this massive tragedy, that my little problems are insignificant, but I need to rant a bit - please have patience with me. My life has been drastically changed. But it's not the big things that are

When going to a fundraising walk, it is a good idea to wear comfortable shoes. Sandals are good for lounging, but not for walking more than a few steps. Victor, with blisters in both feet after participating in the Austin
