My beloved Aries RB, most noble and excellent of cats, was born on April
15th. I'm sure he'd be delighted if young Caliban who's shaping up so
promisingly were to share "his" day, since it's in the right timeframe
and everyone needs a special day.

For those of you who remember the feral park cats in Richmond,
Indiana, this is the same shelter and folks who take care of them.
Thought you might like to hear that some of the animals from Louisiana
*are* making it up North and to good shelters.

Yesterday I had Basho on my chest (his favorite resting spot) purring
away. He likes to look me in the eyes and extend his paws towards my
face. I noticed his claws were a bit sharp, so I decided a trimming was

Saturday, September 17, 2005, my daughter and her boyfriend were married in
Sacramento.
Everything went beautifully.  A fun rehearsal.   A yummy rehearsal dinner at
"California Fats" great Chinese food.

I discovered a spot on Miranda's ear, and then one on my arm, so I'm
going to bite the bullet and start the medication. I started a course of
washing myself with a medicated washing liquid. I have an appointment to
a dermatologist in a few weeks' time anyway, so I'll talk to her ...
