As I sweep the apartment I generally kick the mouseys and stray cat
toys behind me into the cleared area... today Silver was following me
around, and as I shunted her favourite mousey towards the craft room
she stopped dead in her tracks - and the mousey whopped her straight

I have to assume that if the USA gets to see the wonderful Little
Britain they will stop referring to cats as "bitties" - it makes me
cringe every time I see that word now!

She seems to be much more of a chatter box today.  I don't know if it's the
cooler weather in the southern U.S. but she's been yakking at me all day
long!  I can't get up from my chair without her making some sort of noise.
Mrrphing, burruping, ma-ma'ing, chirruping.  Yes, I say to ...

More than 25 years ago, I was living with three others in a house we were
sharing in my home town, Trondheim, Norway.
We also had a cat, Balin, a black and white domestic male cat. A really good
guy who gave us all many pleasant times with his loving, affectionate

because I made a plea to whoever might be listening, if anyone was

Every morning Baby Eyes gets in a zoomy mood for a couple of hours, and,
ever since the time Tubs moved out, no other four-leggeds have been
involved. Until today.
It was actually too early for the start of her usual morning hour of racing

We went away for the weekend and on our last trip out ot the car with
stuff, we could not find Kumani.  OMG!  Did she get out of the
apartment when we were carrying out DP's mountain bike?  Where was she?
We spend half an hour ripping the apartment up to find Kumani asleep IN

I almost hesitate to say this, in case it tempts fate, but she really does.
The silly old girl just got the zoomies, hurtling round the two rooms,
leaping on to the arm of the settee and then behind it.  She can be a secret
piddler, so I called "Oy, get out of there" and she did. ...

We went to visit the in-laws in Houston* this weekend, as yesterday was
Mary's 76th birthday. We were going to see "March of the Penguins" but
got there early, so were killing time at the mall before the movie. We
went to the Discovery Channel Store and I found a cat toy I wanted ...

Does anyone know if Pam (can't remember her rpca nickname) is still posting
on rpca or knows where she is?  She once lived in Phoenix and before she and
her husband divorced she was holding a rescue/support fund for rpca posters.
