I made a new friend today28 Sep 2005 22:20 GMT9
I went off on my usual Wednesday morning CTC cycle ride meet at Tittleshall,
for the coffee morning. There's always a d*g thing there, who is cute, as
d*g things go. The d*g thing always comes to greet me when I'm there, and
makes the rounds of the people attending the coffee ...
I am so proud + kitten's name28 Sep 2005 15:34 GMT8
Of my boys, especially Stinky.  No, they are not friends yet.   But
Stinky has really risen to the occasion, and has clearly decided he is
not giving up the ship.  This is still HIS house, and I am still HIS
Mommy.  Last night, they both watched TV with him, and actually both
I Am NOT a Shelter28 Sep 2005 12:49 GMT21
But apparently someone in the neighborhood thinks I am.
DH went out to pick up a few things at the grocery store yesterday.
He was gone maybe 1/2 hour.  I was laying on the couch, screaming in
pain (I fell down on Tuesday, and twisted as I did, and I am having
EGADS!!!  Another Cat!!!28 Sep 2005 12:23 GMT17
We have been seeing a long-haired tortoise shell cruising through the yard
on a couple of occasions.  She came up to me today when I sat outside with
food for her - she was more interested in *me* than the food.  I brought her
inside (eep - I have PO'd the residents) she is in ...
Yay Stinky!  Day 528 Sep 2005 12:16 GMT13
Stinky is now moving more or less freely through the house.  He seems
to have decided he would rather see what the little vandal is doing
than yield the field.
They are now curious about each other-- Stinky is still hissy and

I guess when you bring a new cat home, you find out a lot about the
resident cat that you didn't know.  This sure was the case when I
brought Stinky home.  This event awoke the sleeping diva in my little
Mimi.  I quickly realized that she had always been so easy-going and

Persia Doesn't Feel Good :(28 Sep 2005 03:40 GMT22
She was fine early this morning.  But a while after she ate she got an upset
tummy.  She started making a sound similar to the one she makes when she's
yowling at a cat on the patio, except she wasn't near a window.  So I rushed
over to her to see why she was making that sound.  She ...
Daddy's Girl28 Sep 2005 02:57 GMT1
Silver is very much a Daddy's Girl. If John's home, she won't be far
from him - usually either placed stragically on his chest between his
face and the laptop, or sitting on the back of his chair when he's
told her to move her furry rear or else! Will she come to me and let

Jake could use some purrs27 Sep 2005 23:33 GMT26
Jake has an owie on his chest.  I don't know how he was hurt but its bad
enough the vet will have to trim the wound and put in some stitches.  Its a
tear about the size of a nickel.
So Jake has to spend the night at the vet tonight, and will have surgery in

My oldest had a sleep over last night and her friend brought over her
camera. The two of them too these photos after Harvey decided to
remodel the girls bathroom. We had just painted last weekend but had
not gotten around to replacing the floor yet. I guess now thee job is

I'm new here...glad to see there's a group full of so many cat lovers!
Perhaps you can help me with my dilemma.......
About a week ago, my father brought home a scrawny little female tabby
(every bone was visible).  He said she'd been wandering around his

Cat nipped,  I really feel for you,  I had an MIL from hell,  but she did
not have a dog !  Try to stand up to her,  at least on the matter of her
dogs,  it is a very difficult situation for you. I was thrilled to hear that
both your daughters dogs have been found,  they deserve ...
