Blanket Purrs that cover Hobbes as well16 Sep 2005 17:33 GMT15
I hate sending blanket purrs but we're headed out of town and I've been
trying to get ready (out of town last weekend, worked this week and
trying to get it together for a 10 day trip, sigh). I've been trying to
sift through and send purrs and Happy Purrday greetings (Happy ...

I have misplaced the kitty nail clippers. I know they are somewhere in
the house, but can't find them for the life of me. (should I suspect
the four-legs, or the little two-legs?)Naturally, I forget to get new
ones everytime I go to Petsmart.
RPCA: "Kids" are boarded!16 Sep 2005 10:35 GMT11
Okay, I did the evil deed and put a completely unsuspecting Persia in her
carrier to take her off to be boarded.  My plan went off without a hitch;
she thought this was just another morning in our house.  Of course she
started mewling pitifully; that's a given.
Happy birthday Amber!16 Sep 2005 10:20 GMT7

The Evil Greebles - Repost from 199616 Sep 2005 10:19 GMT12
Every morning upon awakening, precisely at 5:00am, "Prissy Sissy With The
Sassy Tail" would roam around the house checking to make sure her territory
was adequately secure and safe for her family. Being a very conscientious
"watch cat", she never skimped on this task. Indeed, she ...

I found this this morning and thought the "family" may want to check it
out.

Poor Phoenix!15 Sep 2005 19:08 GMT7
Just got back from the vet with Phoenix. I spotted a small injury under his
right eye. The vet found bruising on his forehead too, so he got injected
with a painkiller and antibiotic eye drops just in case.
My first thought was that he had too much 'rough' with a tumble with

We've yet to hear your philosophy(s) regarding your supporting public
release of personal information AND continued reporting of your
associates to their respective ISP's/NSP's if they should disagree
with you.  Any thoughts?

RPCA Caliban's verdict15 Sep 2005 13:33 GMT12
Caliban's rough patch turned out to be --- ringworm! AAUUUGHHH! Well,
he's been with us for over a month and the other cats show no signs of
ringworm. The vet wants me to give all the cats oral meds now. I'm
wondering if I should, since people here have testified that it may not
Ceefa is home !15 Sep 2005 13:03 GMT3
Someone posted a link this week to a story in the Plymouth Herald about a
stray cat that was found and that was registered in Den Helder. I posted it
on some of the mailing lists I'm on, and one of my friends, who lives in
that part of the country, called the local newspaper in ...
Not-so-mighty huntresses!15 Sep 2005 11:26 GMT6
The weather in our part of southern California has been moderating a bit
latley. It seems like our string of 100+ degree days might be gone for a
while. This means that it's much more comfortable when we get home, so
Nancy and I usually leave the back door standing open rather than ...
Woohoo!15 Sep 2005 06:04 GMT2
I was all prepared to be mad when I saw the huge headline "Straying
into Uncertain Territory" with a big  (BIG) picture of a cat on the
local newspaper. I figured they were going to impose yet another
penalty on cat owners. Cats ALWAYS get the short shrift. Imagine my
