New Furniture18 Sep 2005 02:55 GMT1
No this isn't a complaint about cats ruining new furniture.
I finally got new furniture for the living room, been promising myself it
for eight years, and my cats at seven just now have only seen and liked the
old ratty furniture (finally getting too bad even for me).  Now I've
Silly Silly Moe17 Sep 2005 23:39 GMT15
Earlier this morning, while catching up on news and email, Moe, who likes to
lay on the scanner on the right 'leg' of my L shaped desk, decided that her
tail needed a good washing.  Unfortunately, her tail thought otherwise, and
did it's very best to avoid said washing.  Thus Moe ...

Beatrice's catch17 Sep 2005 22:00 GMT4
She has just brought in a large, wet, brown, dead LEAF and is eating it as I
type.
ROFL!
Some days just about everything is hilarious!
ping: did abelard come home finally?17 Sep 2005 20:52 GMT3
Forgive me for forgetting the name of Abelard's slave but I am suffering
from CRS syndrome right at the moment. Crossing my fingers that he got
his furry but home.

Caliban is learning to become a BC17 Sep 2005 19:56 GMT13
A B*st*rd Cat, that is. I was working at home today, but had an
appointment with my physiotherapist. Our building is being maintenanced,
and there were some men coming in to do something to my floor, or rather
one corner of it, which was sagging a bit. I told them several times

RPCA:  Update:  Arthur is home17 Sep 2005 18:49 GMT16
Arthur is home, but this took a toll on the poor guy :-(  He would not
eat at all yesterday, and did not bounce back like some of the other
cats have done after a neuter.  We also had an x-ray done before the
neuter, because he tends towards heavy respiration.  Bad news there,

Desk Drawer Stowaway17 Sep 2005 15:33 GMT10
Captain's mad at me.
It seems that the back of our computer desk really doesn't HAVE a back, at
least not behind the part where the drawers are.
I might have gone forever without knowing this, had it not been for Captain
Scaredy cats17 Sep 2005 15:28 GMT9
The plumber came by this morning to fix a leaking showerhead. Rufous
will be most disappointed, when he realized his favorite pastime
(chasing water droplets) is no more. :)
Anyhow, Fez and Rufous hid under the bed when they realized there was a

This is commercial website which sells electronics and radio equipment.
There must be a real cat lover there, because they have a LOT of *pages*
with pictures of customer's cats!

Barf response16 Sep 2005 19:15 GMT22
Otis barfed lastnight at 4 AM.  I heard him starting to heave, woke out of
deep REM, turned on the bedside table lamp, and Fred found a magazine to put
under Otis' face.  We went from REM to saving the new bedspread in less than
10 seconds :-)   We've had a few barfs in the past ...
It's all in how you phrase it :o)16 Sep 2005 19:11 GMT3
When it comes to convincing a kitty that something's good to do, it's all
in how you phrase it.
Take, for example, Stanley. He is turning into the biggest attention sponge
I've ever seen in my life. When he wants pettins, he will stand in front of
