| I think my plan worked | 25 Aug 2005 16:20 GMT | 13 |
Mir-mir and Caliban play together all the time now. They chase each other, wrestle, and kill mousies together. They leave Frank to snooze in peace in the sauna. Sometimes he comes out and warbles at the kittens before he goes to eat. Caliban, the food monster who will eat ...

| Cat races | 25 Aug 2005 16:10 GMT | 6 |
A friend of mine and me were sitting over a beer last night, and after a while we started talking about cats. We often do that.. Yestaerday's theme was a bit special: How would a cat race be? You know, there are horse races, dog races, and even turtle and rabbit races where the

| This weekend | 25 Aug 2005 15:51 GMT | 12 |
This weekend I have the unenviable task of sitting my friend's 5 cats again, well going in twice a day to feed them, they don't really need sitting as they're 75% outdoor, only come in to eat and sleep at night. I am worried about George, he went on the missing list last time cos he

| Am I normal? | 25 Aug 2005 10:35 GMT | 18 |
Last week my niece called me to let me know she was going to become a cat slave as a friend of my SIL's pedigree manx queen had received a visit from the local mad feral tom and produced the inevitable result and she was going to have a girl bitty

| Do cats get jet-lag? | 25 Aug 2005 05:46 GMT | 10 |
I have no idea why this question popped into my head. But I was thinking about Vino, who flew from Canada to Bangkok and will fly next year to Australia. Cats seem to have little internal clocks... do they reset themselves or do cats crossing time-zones suffer from jet-lag?

| Fussy eater my *beep* | 25 Aug 2005 02:36 GMT | 6 |
Last night I stopped off at the supermarket and bought a can of cat food, or so I thought. It was late and it was own label stuff so I didn't recognise it, he doesn't usually get this brand but I had no choice.

| Persephone's obsession | 24 Aug 2005 22:28 GMT | 5 |
Persephone has various obsessions - killing bedmice (much to the annoyance of DH when she does it at 3am!), food (people food, cat food, d*g food - it's all the same to her) and her leash. She loves chasing the end of the dog's leash and when she thinks she is bored,

| Bliss | 24 Aug 2005 22:24 GMT | 7 |
For the first time, all three cats slept in bed with me last night. I woke sometime during the night with Frank on the pillow beside mine, purring, Caliban cuddled under my chin(s), purring, and Miranda pressed up against my thighs. Ah, bliss. Then I overslept an hour. :o)

| It looks wrong, it looks bad to me | 24 Aug 2005 22:20 GMT | 9 |
I took a few pics of Beatrice's incision. They came out a bit blurry but I couldn't get better ones this evening. To me it looks very strange and I am worried. Please let me know what you think. I could maybe get better pics in the morning when there is more light.

| I've heard of doing everything together, but... | 24 Aug 2005 19:19 GMT | 6 |
Brandy and Stosh have developed an interesting pre-wrasslin ritual. It seems they like to lick each other before entering the sumo ring. Never saw anything like it. They'll lie together looking like a furry yin-yang, licking each other like crazy. And then they'll beat the snot out ...

Well, she lived through it... but I haven't had the guts yet to look at her little belly. Thanks for all the purrs!
