Need some purrs and positive vibes here29 Aug 2005 00:58 GMT21
I've been home from wonderful vacation for two days.  I'd love to share news
and pictures but.
I was fine the whole time we were away, but now I have pneumonia.  And
asthma.  And I feel rotten.  And I'm on prednisone.  So it's hard for be to

Francis29 Aug 2005 00:04 GMT25
Well, it's been about a year since that stupid TED said Francis needed to be
euthanised due to acute kidney failure. Good job Vernon, Nathan & I stood
our ground and it's a good job Francis has ignored TED's pronouncements on
not living more than a few days.
Stray kitty goes to the vet28 Aug 2005 23:35 GMT9
Her vet appointment is tomorrow.  I'm hoping she's okay.  She gets spayed,
wormed, vaccinated, all of the above.  It's been an ordeal with her.  It now
looks like she's got allergies because she's got red bumps all over and it's
either food or dust mites, I dunno.  What a let down; ...
Angel is Really Sick28 Aug 2005 23:06 GMT41
This is exactly what I hoped would not happen. I was careful to get all
her vaccinations and boosters right on schedule because I hoped it
would help her not get sick down there. I'm afraid not having mother's
milk she didn't have enough immunity. She has a bad URI. There are
Cat vs. TV28 Aug 2005 22:06 GMT11
Some weeks ago, my TV started behaving strangely when connected to my DVD
player, today I finally got around to calling Sony to schedule a service
call. Needless to say, I get a "tech" who wants to try all the obvious
things first, now I pride myself on being able to perform the ...

Oscar fears change ...28 Aug 2005 21:16 GMT2
As computer geeks, when DH and I are home, we are mostly in the
office.  Or maybe I should call it the game room.  Well, anyway, the
office is also one of Oscar's favorite hangouts, as she can sit on the
sill and watch all the activity in front of our house.  As a bonus, we
Cats on top28 Aug 2005 20:37 GMT6
I don't know what is up, but all of a sudden, both Little Feet and
Buster have decided that the best thing in the world is to sit or lie
atop us at night.
Usually, I end up with Buster lying across or between (which position
Spot...28 Aug 2005 18:09 GMT5
Spot just peed on the floor at the opening of the litter box?  He never does
this--none of them do.  Should I be concerned?  He is a tall-long cat--so I
had to get one of those 'walk in' extra-large littler boxes with a dome lid.
I think he was half way in and didn't realize it??
A very diffiicult decision28 Aug 2005 16:35 GMT17
I love Eli so much, he's a wonderful cat, a great mouser and was an
excellent babysitter for Beatrice (before she grew so big). But he is making
everyone here miserable.
It used to just Abelard that he picked on, but now it's everyone except
[Cute Warning] Little Feet and I take a nap28 Aug 2005 13:00 GMT20
Okay, I have mentioned how cute Little Feet is, when I read or take a
nap, and he cuddles up against my shoulder. I have been trying to
figure out a way to get decent pictures of this (don't tell Senyah,
but she takes lousy pictures).
BAH!28 Aug 2005 05:50 GMT10
Vernon had his surgery on Monday. Staff were lovely in terms of well, being
friendly, but I was amazed by the number of breaches of hospital published
policy on controlling infection. Whereas the publicity of the hospital says
clinical staff do not wear rings/watches... guess ...
It's only been a few weeks28 Aug 2005 05:05 GMT16
I can hardly believe it. Caliban has been here about 2.5 weeks. The
first week, Miranda growled and hissed at him, but look at them now.
Another awwww moment (2 pics):

Baby Jake update28 Aug 2005 00:31 GMT9
I just added some recent photos of Jake, aka "His Royal Badness", as my
hubby loves to call him. He is now 5 1/2 weeks old, and getting cuter every
day.
