How Many Places?04 Aug 2005 20:28 GMT40
We've had the "where are you?" posts - country, province, city, state, etc.
How about where have you lived?  And to keep it semi-on-topic, did you have
a cat or cats and if so, did you move the cat(s) with you or have to make
other arrangements?
You furry b*****ds04 Aug 2005 19:05 GMT6
So, I'm about to go to bed last night after finishing some work in my office
in the basement. As I go upstairs I'm shocked to see that the steps are
covered in blood with large quantities splashed on the woodwork, great
smears all over the kitchen floor etc.
Question About Doing a Side-Job (OT)04 Aug 2005 18:21 GMT14
I've been asked by the guy who bought the store down the street to create
and print up fliers (how the heck do you spell that?) for him to hand out
and possibly to tuck into people's mailboxes or whatever.  Seems he thought
I'd do this for free.  Uh, no.  Paper and printer ink cost ...
Purrs for Rufous, hopefully not serious04 Aug 2005 17:48 GMT20
Rufous is having trouble jumping this morning. He wasn't able to make it
on the bed and just now he couldn't get into the litterbox (it's  a
purrfect privvy, so it's a small jump to get in and out). Not normal for
a 2 year old who just got a clean bill of health last week. He's ...
Pearl04 Aug 2005 17:45 GMT16
Well, my God, had I known a little special food would make this much
difference.... I really can't believe it. Pearl is sassy again. Pestering
Sugar, nipping me. Playing (well, as much as she has played). I honestly
believe her intestines are more a problem than her heart as far as ...
Updated Question re: Side Job04 Aug 2005 15:05 GMT13
Anyone here an MS Word guru?  I am using a template d/l'd from the MS web
site for the flier.  It's looking very good but I want to put a border down
the left side with images of produce (clip art! heheh).  The template has
this box down the left set up as a text box so when I try ...
Update on Anonymous RB Cat04 Aug 2005 06:54 GMT1
I was able to find someone nearby to move the poor cat-- he agreed
that the poor thing was too far gone for me to have done it myself.
It was a terrible mess.  Damn this hot weather.
Poor fellow, he was a blue-grey cat who was a neighborhood regular--
Wibble....04 Aug 2005 03:21 GMT13
Less than 10 hours and I have my big job interview with the Welsh
Assembley. <Gulp>.
HRFL and Pandora know my presentation on flooding inside out. It doesn't
bode well that they fell asleep....
Interesting website04 Aug 2005 03:03 GMT1
I just spent the last few minutes oohing and aahing over a nature gift
catalogue that I got in the mail today.  They have a website you might want
to check out at http://www.whalesdirect.com
There are a lot of tempting cat-;dog-; horse-; wolf-themed gifts here -
unexpected consequences04 Aug 2005 01:28 GMT1
Rearranging my office a bit, I moved the roughly 3' high Cat Condo from
next to the main computer on the computer table, to the desk. The desk
is a few inches higher than the table. The Condo now sits on the outside
edge of the desk, next to the walkway.
I Found Another One.04 Aug 2005 01:19 GMT20
Yes, another kitten. This one was out back, but I am sure it is a
littermate to the one we found Sunday. About the same age. More timid
than the first one, that's probably why it stayed hidden longer. I hope
there aren't any more out there.
New Cat04 Aug 2005 01:07 GMT40
I've got another dumped cat. This one is sad. From the looks of it,
it's got FIP / FeLV written all over it. It looks like a teenager, real
skinny and just doesn't look healthy. It's skittish but not
feral-acting.
Baby Bea's 1st Mousie03 Aug 2005 21:17 GMT10
Went out today and left the door closed with cat flap set to "In Only" so
Bea wouldn't get out. She's one of the four (out of seven) who have yet to
figure out how to open the cat flap to go out when it's set this way. The
other three are Baby Eyes (who does not care), Eli and ...
Purrs for the 3 Stooges, please.03 Aug 2005 20:02 GMT9
No - not the ones from TV, the ones that laze about my house more often than
not.
Ernie, Mimi & Moe have their yearly checkup in less than one hour.  TED will
tell me Mimi is fat (her nickname is not Butterball for naught), and that
Ouch! Mind the fang...03 Aug 2005 18:27 GMT3
I was having a love-fest with Issa this morning and I have him a good
peck in the face. He turned his face just as I was making contact and I
ended up with his fang on my lip. Ouch! He's got sharp fangs!
