Vino gets jealous06 Aug 2005 14:33 GMT6
This morning Dennis and I were lying in bed and Vino was between us.
I reached out and petted...Dennis!  I was running my fingers through
his hair and scratching his head.  After less than a minute of this,
Vino very suddenly jumped up and rushed Dennis' face and batted his

I need some purrs06 Aug 2005 05:38 GMT18
This time it is me rather than Rusty who needs purrs.
My eyes have been bothering me. Yesterday they started watering.
I don't know whether its from allergy or lack of sleep, or eye strain
from too much computer use.
"The Perricone Promise" - OT06 Aug 2005 05:31 GMT33
Has anyone heard of the above diet book?
I have been researching "holistic" things I could do that might help me with
my fibromyalgia.  Happens that this guy was on "Oprah" on a show about the
new anti-aging technology.  He claims that the signs of aging are caused buy
Why do hoomins......06 Aug 2005 03:34 GMT10
.....insist on making silly noises to us cats?  It's quite funny but at
the same time humiliating to hear such primative baby talk.
*sigh* If only hoomins could possess the higher intelligence to
communicate with us, then they wouldn't have to make such silly noises

I understand the translation but I cannot find "pig head meat" (and frankly
would rather not!)  Should I consider "pig elbow" to be ham hocks?  If so, I
gather they should be raw hocks not smoked?  Then it just says "pork" ...
Too Blink'in Smart05 Aug 2005 23:33 GMT9
That Omar!  He knew something was up this morning; it was time for me to
take him in for his bloodwork again and I blew it....I knew I should've
blocked the doors off to our bedroom but he got that look in his eye before
I had a chance and off he galloped under the bed.  And
Tweaker suddenly confronted by a pack of strange dogs05 Aug 2005 22:33 GMT5
Tonight these guys showed up to spend the night because they missed a
ferry.  They had 3 big dogs with them, and I said, let them out to say
hello to Holly, because Holly and I know these dogs.  But Tweaker had
never met them.
Otis maybe doesn't feel great?05 Aug 2005 22:29 GMT13
Otis has been a real PITA lately, as I've posted.  The thing is that he's
been licking his lips a lot again and I suspect that he might have some pain
in his mouth.  If you all recall, he had that condition where he gets those
cavities under the gumline and he's lost a tooth that ...

Ms. Willow smacked down a cat at least twice her size.  This is according to
reports from my dad who she is staying with until tomorrow, when she comes
back to me.
She and the FBC (Fat Black Cat aka Onyx) get along fairly well after some
Which one of your HOOMINS has the yummiest tummy?05 Aug 2005 19:02 GMT9
This is response to that silly posting "Which one of your cats has the
yummiest tummy?"
My tummy is NOT yummy.  It is soft and furry, but NO ONE is allowed to
touch it.  Imp and I both agree on this.  Tummies are meant to be

Oblivious05 Aug 2005 18:41 GMT2
I always thought of cats as being totally aware of their surroundings,
even when asleep.  Well, this morning Maryweather was meatloafing on
the cat shelf at the north kitchen window - perhaps she was planing
her next hunt, but whatever, she was totally imersed in her own
