Ugh, my feet hurt, from three days straight of working 8-9 hour shifts.
Things are the same at the clinic, we're getting more animals boarding
as families start to take their last vacations this month before the
kids go back to school.
Landlord request09 Aug 2005 02:20 GMT27
Saw my landlord and her family and got to talking about this and that.
And then she said, "Oh, Kristi, your cat.  You need to be careful.  I
saw her in the window and I tried to shoo her away.  Can you keep her
out of the window?"  This is the front window that opens to the

Even more behind than usual on reading everyone's posts, so purrs
where they're needed.
I still love my new job, but we're in a bit of a bind -- important new
customer, this is our first job for them, time estimates were of
Names for Tabby boy09 Aug 2005 00:33 GMT6
Let's just toss some out for fun.

Who else has done this?09 Aug 2005 00:31 GMT27
OK, probably nobody but me, but I'll admit it.
I make up little "ditties" to sing to my cats all the time (sometimes to the
tune of old 60s songs, but other times just kind of drony, jingle-type
tunes).  [One of them is to "MEE-EW" to the tune of Speedo.]
It's carnival time09 Aug 2005 00:24 GMT1
The slave has brought home some paper bags - one for each of us.  They
had groceries or something in them when she brought them into the house,
but now, they are just three empty bags in the big room.  And now, she
is trying to sew in the sleeping room - get this - WITH THE DOOR ...
Cat-testing the new furniture09 Aug 2005 00:21 GMT5
After I brought the bookshelf upstairs and cleaned it up, I took some
more rubbish out and there was a big metal rack with a wooden shelf on
it sitting out there! So I brought it upstairs for my craft room, and
the cats thoroughly tested it out before I put my crafts on it... I
Purrs for Smudge Please,  Reasons below09 Aug 2005 00:09 GMT44
This morning I had to take Smudge into the local Emergency Vet Hospital.
She had been electrocuted.
She was on my desk this morning trying hard to force me to hurry up with
breakfast and at one point she did a rare rub against the swing arm elbow of
Update: Tycho08 Aug 2005 21:36 GMT17
He's home! Mom was so happy to bring him home. They said they got most of it
out. Poor boy made 4 circuits of the house. I don't think he could believe
he was out of that tiny cage. She is going to have to be laxatone vigilant
from now on. Thank you all. I'm sure that the purrs ...
She's back!08 Aug 2005 21:16 GMT7
My little girl is here with us again...finally.  She looks so thin :(  Her
belly is shaved where they did the ultra sound and various areas are growing
in hair where they took blood.
I'm happy Willow is back with us.  I feel more complete.
So much for the side-job (OT)08 Aug 2005 18:16 GMT29
I spent about 5 hours designing the flyer for the store down the street.  I
couldn't seem to get there at a time when the cooks were not busy and the
guy had no clue which different entrees they prepare each day.
So I dropped off the draft two days ago and asked him to have the ...
Flutterbyes in my tummy08 Aug 2005 15:47 GMT7
The fosterer just answered my mail. I can fetch Leo any time, or she
might bring him this evening!!! I just hope I replied on time before she
left home for errands. Then Leo might arrive in just an hour or so! The
batteries are charged and ready in the camera, don't know whether ...
Purrs for Tycho08 Aug 2005 15:24 GMT31
My moms cat Tycho has to stay at the vet while they try to wash a big
hairball (we hope) out of his stomach. He does have extraordinarily thick
hair. I am just hoping it is not like my Grant and turn out to be worse.
However, he was just acting lethargic, and that is why she took ...

Teleport over here my love. You are about to be inundated with another
kitten. Come live with me - I'll treat you with the *love* and respect you
deserve. Whippersnappers are a PITA.
