Help with new cats who are scared10 Aug 2005 02:50 GMT4
It must be asked alot but this is the first time I have had to deal
with this but I recently got two new cats from a lady who had no room
for them. She actually found them as strays and took them in, She said
it took a monthfor them to come around for her but i'm not sure if this

The Courageous Defender Roadcat09 Aug 2005 23:08 GMT14
Since makig the transition to house kitty, Harri has adjusted quite
nicely. Sha has taken on new responsibilities to replace the important
jobs she used to do out in the truck. One of her most importnat new jobs
is that of shower-time personal bodyguard.
Asserting Seniority09 Aug 2005 23:06 GMT3
My oldest owner, Baby Eyes (age 5), decided to assert herself this morning
by covering the scratchers so nobody else could use them.  I got a bunch of
pics of her in the process of claiming the scratchers and her varying moods.
She now has her own album in my Yahoo photos.
New Kitten09 Aug 2005 22:41 GMT19
Good news/Bad news.  Today is my 2nd grandson's sixteenth birthday.  Some
friends gave him a young kitten for his birthday.  She is adorable.  There
are numerous reasons why this is a horrible idea.  Really.  But she is
adorable.  Looks to be barely six weeks old.  But she is ...
How Long in RPCA?09 Aug 2005 20:57 GMT49
After the "Karma" post on rpch+b I got curious about *my* posting history so
googled!  ;>  I didn't realize that I had posted on rpc (before the split)
so long ago.  I remember a few others from back then, David Stevenson, Joy.
Who else posted back then - and/or how long have you ...
Bat in the house09 Aug 2005 19:55 GMT7
Because it has been so hot here I've had the attic door open with the bottom
of the opening blocked off so the cats don't go up there. It's a walk up
attic with a room type door at the bottom of the stairs. I live in a two
story house.I went up stairs to get something from the ...
Integration snippets09 Aug 2005 19:23 GMT2
Last night, little Whosis came into bed with me, and snuggled down
against my head. Frank came, saw his place on the pillow next to mine
was taken, and settled down by my feet. Miranda came, saw the little
interloper was in bed with me, hissed at him and left to sleep somewhere

For a few days to visit my amazing streaking nephew. ;)  Bigtime purrs
to all who need them, and don't do anything I wouldn't do. ;)

The Poopie Trail--GW09 Aug 2005 04:35 GMT5
It started with occasionally seeing a small piece of dried poopie in
the hall. Then, in the bedroom, later going on into the livingroom. It
was a mystery.
The only thing I could think of was Sheba. I realize cats getting old
cute paw thing09 Aug 2005 04:33 GMT7
Casey usually sleeps rolled up by my neck when I first try to go to
sleep.  He puts his paw over my hand and it is so cute.  This is the
normal routine every night for over 10 years now.  Later on in the
night, he goes to other parts of the bed to sleep.
Smudge Update 109 Aug 2005 04:30 GMT6
There has been some improvement in the situation with Smudge.  She has not
developed a breathing problem because of edema and appears unlikely to.
I went over to pick her up to bring home after being advised that if I could
keep her confined and still in a small room.  I went over ...
"The Duffinator" strikes again09 Aug 2005 04:26 GMT15
Duffy has been scrambling all week.  He puffs up like a little gladiator and
stalks Holly -- then attacks!  Holly will look a bit annoyed and bat at him,
but she really doesn't do much to eliminate the little terror.  She could
simply leap to a high place (like the mantel) if she ...
Jessie is Puzzled!09 Aug 2005 04:24 GMT3
After we started putting the floor down in the office, I finally got tired
of tripping over the cats so I put their litter boxes inside and locked the
cat flap that leads into the garage.  When we were finally finished, it must
have seemed to the cats to have changed magically into ...
