TW: Sad anniversary11 Aug 2005 01:47 GMT14
Today is the anniversary of our beloved Quetzie's passing to the RB.
Every year I go back and read the post I wrote in the grief support
newsgroup and every year it makes me cry. Big time TW if you want to
read it:
Cat Article (Canadians)11 Aug 2005 01:16 GMT4
I say Canadians, because 'Homemaker' is a Canadian magazine, and I don't
know if the Americans can buy it. The article, 'Oh, What a Feline' is on
p. 10 of the summer edition, but not on the site. It's a rather touching
story of a man who got a cat because he wanted something like ...

FWF:  Smokey vs Tyche11 Aug 2005 00:26 GMT4
This morning's Feline Wrestling Federation is brought to you by Smokey
and Tyche.  And it's true.
Tyche knocked over the cat tree.  WOW!  Now it's HORIZONTAL!  Oh, neat.
Now the hollowed out parts get crept UP into, with the hole on the
Orlie slept on the bed!10 Aug 2005 23:58 GMT8
Orlie, the twelve year old ginger fellow who moved in with us four
months ago, has passed the final milestone in becoming one of the family.
Last night he jumped up on my bed and slept there, along with all my
long-term resident furry masters. Yee har!
On someone's $#!+ list10 Aug 2005 22:36 GMT1
It has been a stressful week or so. My sister in law just got married, and
the damn fool had to do it twice--I mean, two ceremonies in a day, one Sikh
and one Catholic, and two receptions. Her fiance's family was not pleased
with poor, mild Jeff marrying a non-Catholic and non-white ...
And just to top my day off - suggestions needed10 Aug 2005 22:33 GMT15
My fraidy feral Pandora snuck out of the back door when it was open
this morning. She has managed to get into the back lane which is
over grown with brambles and bushes, so finding her is "difficult".
I have a good idea of where she is, but obviously want her back
I redecorated myself too10 Aug 2005 21:06 GMT12
No, I wasn't exaggerating about the number of minor accidents, and I wasn't
kidding when I said my life is like something out of a Three Stooges movie.
Here's the evidence of *some* of the accidents I had while re-doing my
office (I can't show you the rest without an X-rating and ...
Pictures of all four...!10 Aug 2005 19:52 GMT4
I've got 'em, all scanned and thoughtfully placed in my email by my buddy
Ian. Now, would someone please tell this yutz (uploading for dummies
please!) how and where to post the darn things so you can see my pride and
joy? I've been writing about my little charms for over a year now ...

Marina, Frank and Miranda. In loving memory of Nikki.

He's here10 Aug 2005 16:06 GMT42
Well, he's here. So far, Miranda has done a lot of hissing, and the
little man has answered in kind. Frank came out, sniffed the newcomer,
and commenced chatting to him and following him around. At first the
little one tried hissing at him, too, but Frank just continued talking

Ok, Marina said she's pick up the bitty at 6pm her time. According to
the World Clock (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/) it's almost 8pm
in Helsinki.
How come there are no pictures yet? ;-)
Purrs for Sherry10 Aug 2005 06:52 GMT29
I spoke with Sherry today and she wasn't feeling well at all.  She's been
sick as a dog for 3 days and told me she thought it might be a recurrence of
a bad ulcer problem.  I gather that in the past when this happened she was
hospitalized  (she has some other complicating health ...
