Prowler update13 Aug 2005 02:09 GMT2
I found out who'd been coming in and eating the catfood and the Cream of
Wheat.
Last night the door was partway open, Beatrice was in my lap, then suddenly
she was looking out the door into the darkness with a "WTF is that!?!?"
Boyfriend the Hunting Cat12 Aug 2005 22:48 GMT2
He has been a complete PITA today.  He decided it was a bird hunting day.
Which I hate.  Yes, I know they do it, but before KFC & BF came I was a
birdwatcher..in my garden.
He spotted a young sparrow not long out of the nest, nice snack.  It
Pyramid Tent/Bed - Day 412 Aug 2005 19:54 GMT2
I sprinkled catnip in it.  Persia stuck her head inside.  She still looked
back at her carrier, still like this might be a trap.  But then she sort of
hoovered up the catnip... then she started rolling around on the floor
outside the Pyramid, proclaiming, "ma ma!"  I gave her ...
CatPyramid Bed - Day 312 Aug 2005 17:01 GMT11
So far, no luck.  She sniffs at this cute little soft pyramid but that's
all.  I caught her last night looking at it, then looking over to where I
keep her soft luggage-like carrier (I don't tuck it away because then she
*really* knows when something is up).  She caught me watching ...
please ...more purrs for my mom12 Aug 2005 16:30 GMT29
My mom fell and broke her hip in late July and had her hip replaced. She was
in the hospital for 5 days and then they moved her to the rehab floor.
Since her surgery she's had some difficulties, especially with getting
sufficient oxygen -- turned out she has "mild" congestive heart ...
Cats' Weight Tracking12 Aug 2005 16:17 GMT3
My vet told me that Sammy needs to lose some weight (but all my other cats
should *not* lose weight).  Therefore, I'm trying to closely monitor all
their weights - weighing them on a digital baby scale at the same time every
Monday.
More pictures added12 Aug 2005 13:46 GMT4
I've just added more pictures of cats that have owned me in the past. I go
through phases of taking pictures, so there is a 20 year gap between the
first two and the rest. I've still got more to add, when I can find them,
I'm not very well organised.
Hi again, and back again12 Aug 2005 13:21 GMT33
I'm back from the island with the cats. Luckily, my sister and BIL gave
me a lift back, so I didn't have to take the long bus ride with the
cats. Frank regaled us with his singing all the way. Miranda's brother
Emil and her unka Kasper were in the car, too, and Emil did some ...

Oh, I'm around from time to time, although I've lost all hope of
catching up on the posts. :)
My cat just ran head on into the sliding glass door!12 Aug 2005 11:03 GMT7
He hit it hard too and started making noises like he was sneezing but
after a minute he was ok and I picked her up and pet her for awile and
touched her nose to see if she was hurt and she seems ok..  Should I be
worried?
Pictures12 Aug 2005 08:49 GMT14
I've enjoyed all the pictures posted lately, so I've put up a few of my
own.

Didn't get it :o(12 Aug 2005 06:06 GMT29
Got notified by the Welsh Assembley today. I didn't get the job. :o(
I'm finding this really hard. I'm either too over qualified, too under
qualified, have the wrong qualifications, or all 3. It's really very
depressing.
Baby boy update and pics12 Aug 2005 06:03 GMT27
The baby boy has gunky eyes, has had them for some time now. The
fosterer took him to TED, but they said not to do anything but wipe them
with boiled water unless they start turning red. They're still very
messy, but not red, so I'll wait a few days more and see if they improve.
Smudge update 212 Aug 2005 06:01 GMT19
Sorry if this is getting tedious.  I brought Smudge home after borrowing a
cage from my vet - just cost a refundable deposit.
She will not be able to stay home.  She absolutely demands freedom of the
apartment.  After eating her salmon pate, she started throwing litter,
Poor old Otis12 Aug 2005 05:44 GMT11
Otis is primarily an indoor cat, though he likes to sunbathe a bit when
he gets the chance, so I let him him go in the garden, which he doesn't
escape from.
Yesterday it was a scorcher and he was outside as I was leaving for
