A little cat named Tiki needs purrs16 Aug 2005 04:06 GMT20
A lady in Perth who was in the hospital having surgery needs purrs for her
little cat Tiki who is blind and has been missing for 3 days. It sounds like
a miracle is needed, but any spare purrs you have would maybe help.
Meowmie Is Home!15 Aug 2005 23:47 GMT3
Just wanted to let everyone know Our Meowmie returned from the Florida place
tonight! She does not appear to have been eaten by anything, and we are
naturally very relieved to have her home. We can't let her KNOW right away
how happy tho, as she appears unapologetic and thoroughly ...
Don't touch!15 Aug 2005 23:27 GMT2
All week I've been checking Sonny's abcess on his lower back (the
antibiotics are working well).  I've been gentle when I've had to
squeeze out pus and bathe the wound as instructed.  Poor baby, he's
been so patient throughout the ordeal.  The sore is healing well and
Oh Dear!15 Aug 2005 23:23 GMT5
I am *SO* terribly behind in reading posts (450 unread!!).  I promise I'll
try to catch up soon and start posting, but in the meantime, know that I am
reading purr requests and I'm sending quiet purrs to all who need them!
I haven't been posting because I'm still battling depression ...

Pics of a guest kitty15 Aug 2005 14:17 GMT3
A few years ago we had a community cat (moocher) visit us quite frequently,
especially during the winter months. After we got our second cat she stopped
coming around as much, as she was not fond of other cats and two was just
too much. We haven't seen her in over a year and ...
Something nice and something sad15 Aug 2005 10:59 GMT7
When I was waiting at the vet's yesterday, something nice happened. The
emergency vet's is at the vet school, and they receive lost animals,
too. While I was there, a couple brought in a little d*ggie that they
had found running around loose near their home. I know nothing about ...
Smudge - Update 315 Aug 2005 10:44 GMT3
Today I went in for my second visit to see Smudge.
For a cat that chewed on an electric cord last Sunday, she seems to be
coming along well..  She is moving well with no limp from dislocating her
hip so her hip seems to be staying in well and looks like it may stabilize
Cleo at the vet over the weekend15 Aug 2005 09:27 GMT17
Late this week I noticed that Cleo seemed to be experiencing some mouth
discomfort so we took her in to the vet this morning. It turns out she has
an abcessed tooth and is mildly dehydrated. The poor girl will be spending
the weekend at the vet, getting antibiotics and IV fluids. ...
Virtual Cat fight15 Aug 2005 09:27 GMT4
We've had a black cat visiting every few nights for over a year to harass
the girls. Last summer he used to attack them at the screen door on the back
porch. But this summer it's been too hot to open the door, so he's changed
to the side windows on the front door. It's funny to ...
We have a name15 Aug 2005 06:56 GMT6
I couldn't just go on calling him Whosis and Baby boy, so since Miranda
still thinks he's disgusting, I'm going with the The Tempest names and
calling him Caliban. I don't think this is his Real Name, but it will
have to do, at least for now. Maybe it will stick. His real ...
PING: Auntie Marina15 Aug 2005 04:34 GMT13
Waffles here.
Can you have a word with the Helsinki Police please? They are having a
terrible effect on Meowmie. She simply has no dignity. She's been watching
the athletics currently women's marathon) and the sight of all those
We are not amused.15 Aug 2005 02:12 GMT2
Cali had me up at 2:30 last night for her feeding. She's taken to rattling
the window blinds at ungodly hours, as she knows this is the most effective
form of torture. :) So this afternoon about 2:30 she was sleeping in the bed
and I couldn't resist rattling the blinds. She gave ...
Claudius' Chronicles 2: Of Bedmice & Greeblings15 Aug 2005 00:38 GMT4
LO Folks
I've pretty well got my paws under the table now and am gradually
getting the household under control. MH (My Hoomin) has put up a few
more pics so you can see how I've been doing:
