Tell me "NO!"  LOL20 Aug 2005 05:32 GMT21
For some reason-uh huh--it has been on my mind the last few days to get a
kitten.  I see that a kitten would be a good addition to 'the clan'.
HHmmmmmmm
Someone stop me!
Stray kitty20 Aug 2005 05:30 GMT41
She showed up on my doorstep yesterday.  I was in the kitchen making a salad
for my husband and I heard this faint cry.  I thought it was my little
Chloe-girl caught in the bathroom cabinet again.  I wandered in there, but
nope, the cry grew fainter.  I walked back into the kitchen ...
Claudius: still more pictures!20 Aug 2005 05:09 GMT8
Further chronicling of his settling down & integration into the family.
It's so sweet it brings a tear to my eye sometimes.
Enjoy.

Cat's Weights20 Aug 2005 00:30 GMT8
This is the second week of using Catnipped's *wonderful* M$Excel spreadsheet
to track my clan's weights, and the results are:
Ernie lost .125 lb (yay)
Lizzie lost .0625 lb (not too good, she's not one of the fat ones)

Okay, I've been trying out my new camera, and have put some more stuff
online. You can see pictures of Dulce Mae and Little Feet having a
playtime or two, at:

What is Meowmie doing?19 Aug 2005 15:22 GMT3
Meowmie has been spending all this time on the computer, playing this
game.  Apparently it's qute addicted but it seems quite odd to me
I managed to read on the box, "World of Warcraft" but it makes no sense
to me.  All I know is that Meowmie is spending ALL her time on it.
Great cat grooming tool19 Aug 2005 15:20 GMT1
I read about Zoom Groom some time ago on one of the newsgroups (not sure
which one) and finally got around to ordering one.  It is great!  Neither of
my cats has ever been very "approving" of cat brushes, even though I have a
big-enough collection to start my own grooming ...
TED update19 Aug 2005 15:00 GMT18
So today I hauled off poor Frank, and Caliban to their own TED. Had a
very productive discussion with her. I realy like this new place I'm
using. First of all, it's a cats-only vet, so no barking d*gs in the
waiting-room to upset the cats. And not just the vets, but the tech

PING: Hans in Norway!19 Aug 2005 06:51 GMT3
I just wanted to tell you I saw a Devon Rex for the first time yesterday
in real life - a little tortoiseshell girl that lives near my parents
came to say goodbye as we were leaving! She was the MOST endearing,
sweet little cat! A really sweet pixie face, huge ears, curly whiskers
Update on Imp19 Aug 2005 04:53 GMT3
after 3 days of Immodium and almost 5 days of Flagyl, his deposits are
still on the soft side.  I'm starting to get a little concerned.
Tonight is his last dose of flagyl.
The next step for something like this would include a return to the vet
Persian kitty on my mind19 Aug 2005 02:34 GMT2
We went to PetSmart today for some Luna food. I always like to do the
obligatory pass-by of the kitty room. There are some kitties that have
been there for a while. Always makes me sad and makes me wish I had a
place to take them all. Anyway, there was an absolutely STUNNING all
Betty - possible bone cancer18 Aug 2005 23:55 GMT57
Last night, Betty started smacking her lips and occasionally rubbing
at her jaw, which was unusual, so I checked her mouth and found that a
lower fang seemed to be slightly misaligned.  I set up a vet
appointment this morning to have it looked at.
Almost Scary - Somwhat long)18 Aug 2005 19:50 GMT4
I am ever amazed at the intiution of cats.  It seems that they can
tell, even before the "d" thing, when someone is going to come to the
house.  I can tell by watching their reactions, whether it is a known
person or salesman (of goods or religion).  I am even more amazed at
