Betty biopsy22 Aug 2005 15:09 GMT35
Just some minor news, but since everyone was wondering, Betty's back
home from her biopsy this morning.  She's acting fussy, not wanting to
be held for long, and wandering around the house fretting, which is a
bit unusual for her, but it's understandable.
great kitty photoshopping22 Aug 2005 12:46 GMT1
Worth 1000 just had another kitty photoshop contest - see the entries at
http://www.worth1000.com/cache/contest/contestcache.asp?contest_id=7104&start=1&
end=10&display=photoshop

But a warning - the page is pretty big if you're on a dialup connection.
New Way to Wake Up...22 Aug 2005 12:08 GMT17
Persia decided my armpit needed a good washing! (I promise you, I bathed
today.)  I was so startled at first I could do nothing.  Then I started
giggling.  She apparently took offense at this because she then reached up
and *booped* me on the nose!

Damn, it's started again.  This invasion of agitators who want to stir up a
bunch of sh.t.
If you don't like rpca, if you don't like who posts to rpca, don't read
rpca!  Geez, how many times must you be told?  If someone here is an evil
Don't you idiots get tired of purring?22 Aug 2005 01:43 GMT40
It's like a fucken AA meeting for preschoolers.

M*ths....21 Aug 2005 23:21 GMT13
I was out on my recumbent trike tonight. Lit up like a Christmas tree, as
usual when cycling at night - three front lights, three rear lights, acres
of reflectives...
Discovered that of a summer night, in the dark, when yours truly on 'bent is
Ping Julie and mini purrs please21 Aug 2005 23:06 GMT1
Saw Dr. J today!!! She's BLONDE! Looks cute as a button and asked if we've
talked lately but told her I've been hermitting most of this year so not
since you told me that Dr. Horowitz was up for chair. (was that before or
after your december phone call?)
Boyfriend is in the naughty corner21 Aug 2005 22:45 GMT6
Over the past couple of days he has brought in two elephant hawk moth
caterpillars as a "wow, big kill"
I just took them away from him with no comment.
It made me a bit sad, they aren't that common and the moths are huge and
Sunday noon - all 3 cats in one pic21 Aug 2005 21:33 GMT9
Frank came out of the sauna for once and settled on my mattress for a
while (it's still on the floor because I'm waiting for my new bed to
arrive), Caliban is on the doormat by the door to the garden, and
Miranda is washing herself on an old travelling chest (inherited from my
HRFL Update21 Aug 2005 21:28 GMT14
We ended up back at the ER again this evening. HRFL has been feeling
crappy all day even though he's not being vomiting, so I rang them for
advice. They said bring him in for a check.
We saw the same TED and vet tech as last night (who were really kind),

My friend Lois, told me this story recently and suggested I post it on
the newsgroup.
Lois visited her cat-loving doctor where they discussed cat matters
instead of her health matters.  Seems said Doc was  adopted by a

My dad is a farmer.  He is also a cat lover and all his barn cats are
vaccinated and sleek and tame and well cared for.
When his cows are calving, he gets up every other hour all night to
check on them and make sure they are not in trouble.
Angel Update21 Aug 2005 17:53 GMT8
Angel is still at the shelter. I thought it would just kill me to see
her there, but it really doesn't. She has quickly become the Boss of
all the Kittens, but has learned her place with the older cats.  I
can't understand why no one has picked her, I thought she was so
Purrs for a cat21 Aug 2005 12:31 GMT6
I was talking with a friend this morning. A cat was hit by a car in front
of their house the other day. They don't know the name, but it belongs to
some people up the street who allow it out a lot of the time, and were out
of town themselves at the time. The cat was able to pull ...
Please can HRFL have some purrs?21 Aug 2005 07:51 GMT26
Please can HRFL have some purrs? My little boy has a temperature of 104*
and is feeling pretty lousy and being sick - to the point he was sick 4
times this evening so ended up seeing the ER vet.
It's thought that he's picked up a nasty bacterial infection or stomach
