I'm sitting at this computer the other night and I hear a sound of
flowing water coming from my nearby bathroom.  I turn my head and I see
the cat I adopted about 8 months ago squatted on the toilet seat, peeing
down into the bowl.  He apparently has perfect aim, too.  Not a drop ...

After about three weeks of nonstop highs in the 90s and several days
in the 100s, it looks like we may get a break from this
record-breaking weather.
There's a bit of cloud cover and I've heard some thunder grumbling.

The top three, Lance, Ivan, and Jan, all just seemed to be in a good,
jokey mood.  And I swear Lance looked like he was going to cloud up
when the national anthem played.

Mom and I were shopping today, and we stopped into Petco where we saw
an incredible profusion of stripey-pants kittens,  and were seized
with terrible KF.  It's also fun to watch the other people looking at
and interacting with the kits.

Well, Norton (Tuxie) and Trixie (Gizmo) have gone to their forever home
