| Cleo - is this the beginning of the end?? | 26 Jul 2005 23:49 GMT | 13 |
Hi all, this afternoon we have an appointment with TED, Cleo, Ken's loving companion of some 16 years is *off* colour. She has gone off her food and was not too keen on getting out of bed for the last couple of days, she is not following her usual daily routine and looks miserable, ...

| My cat pets *me*! | 26 Jul 2005 23:36 GMT | 16 |
He's 6mo, intact. When I work the computer he sometimes leaps on my desk, walks up to me and very gently reaches out and lightly touches my face with his front paw. It is not that he's lonely, he has a (fixed) sister whom he sexually harasses regularly.

| silent purr request | 26 Jul 2005 22:58 GMT | 27 |
Can I ask for silent purrs for Mr Spock (i.e. I know the purrs are out there, so there is no need to respond to this post). He is straining at the litterbox *again*, so is off to the vet for the second time in a month. He is not happy and will be even less happy when he figures

| On topic cycling! | 26 Jul 2005 22:50 GMT | 1 |
This evening Vernon and I went for a pootle around the lanes at sunset. It was lovely. At one point we were greeted by Tetley, a semi-feral, semi-house pet that inhabits a particular part of my local route when he's not with his humans. Tetley ran to greet me, meowing his hello ...

| [OT - Biking] Stupid Question | 26 Jul 2005 21:16 GMT | 23 |
OK, I had to take my bike in to be adjusted today and they wouldn't let me even try it in the parking lot without borrowing a helmet. Yes folks, I didn't own a helmet before today <ducking>! So DH was with me and said, maybe you should buy a helmet to wear, so I did. They said at ...

| Party Photos and MicroKitty | 26 Jul 2005 19:30 GMT | 4 |
For those who asked, I have finally put up some of the photos from the party. I could not get a good picture of MicroKitty, so I just scanned him! There's also an album of the kitties on the site, too, so we're not off-topic entirely ;-)

| MEGA download | 26 Jul 2005 17:52 GMT | 15 |
For quite some time now my server has not been collecting all posts on rpca, although it was kind enough to tell me so. It would say at the bottom of the screen "xxx posts unread, xxxx not downloaded." The undownloaded posts increased and increased in number. I

| can anyone translate this Rabobank article? | 26 Jul 2005 17:45 GMT | 9 |
Actually just the quotes from Rasmussen would be good ... http://www.rabobank.nl/info/execute/node?node_id=322175 What an awful day for him today. How demoralizing.

| Evil, Stupid Neighbors | 26 Jul 2005 07:08 GMT | 15 |
First of all, it appears that we are officially known as "The local cat people". We have some neighbors, a few doors down, who bought a beautifully marked little kitten some time back. She is cream-colored, with light

| Preparing for the trip.... | 26 Jul 2005 04:51 GMT | 5 |
After reading about Scout and Silver's trip to TED, I'm quite amused at how I'm going to corral Imp, Mischief and Mayhem into carrier and get them into the car, ALONG with the birdcage with my two parakeets. I figure I will put out the carriers first. I need to run by work

| Pearl lets one go | 26 Jul 2005 04:08 GMT | 12 |
Poor thing. I wish I knew what makes her gassy. I know that is why she feels bad a lot of the time. But maybe she has figured out how to let go. I've never seen her pass gas outside of when she has diarreha, but tonight, she was walking off and she often stretches out her legs ...
