3/4 of a frog03 Jul 2005 23:28 GMT29
3/4 of a frog (toad?) were eaten. The remaining quarter was left on the
couch. A bloody stain marked the spot of the massacre. All 7 looked
innocent, it will be impossible to tell who did it.

OT:  Blender, never do this03 Jul 2005 22:01 GMT25
Never forget to put the top on your blender when you want to make soup. I
did.  I spent most of the morning today cleaning my toaster, blender,
kettle, my radio which was on the kitchen shelf, my windowsill, my windows
and curtains. And my hair and clothes above the waist.
Bliss..03 Jul 2005 20:08 GMT13
Yesterday...
Bliss...
The males of both species were out yesterday. The human males were cycling
(Nathan was competing), so it was a girlie veg-out session on the sofa

My cats do this *all* the time, when they sleep and also when they run up
Help, Please03 Jul 2005 16:42 GMT13
Hi folks.  I haven't been around here very much - hope it doesn't count
against me.  But I'm in need of some advice for my old Mookie Wilson,
and I didn't know what else to do.
He's been constipated for about 4 days now.  I brought him to TED
Sweet grumpy nursemaid03 Jul 2005 15:39 GMT13
My DH put his back out this morning while helping some friends with
their luggage as we gave them a lift to the airport :-(( so has been in
bed all day - just got up a few mins ago. Cocoa, my very grumpy and
touchy elderly lady, has been sleeping *right* next to him on the bed
Samwise, 1 year old today03 Jul 2005 14:58 GMT12
Today is Sam's first birthday. I picked the date based on what the vet told
me on his first visit. He and his litter mates were born outside and lived
the first 4 months of their life there. He is now a happy house cat. He and
his sisters will be having a catnip party tonight and ...
Meowmy's learned to purr03 Jul 2005 14:01 GMT4
She hasn't mastered the art of the purr yet since she can only purr when
she exhales. It's not a smooth purr yet and sometimes she coughs at the
end like she has a hairball, but she is definately purring.  She must
have been practicing while she was away from home last weekend ...
New photos of Holly and Duffy03 Jul 2005 07:39 GMT10
I recently added a sunroom, and Holly and Duffy love it.  Duffy spends a
tremendous amount of time on the cat tree, and Holly loves to move from
object to object in the room.  I just posted several pictures in
alt.binaries.pictures.animals.
Summer started in Central Texas03 Jul 2005 05:23 GMT5
Thursday was our first day of summer over here, we hit 100F (38C) for
the first time this year. The cats are now spending very little time in
their enclosure, mostly early in the morning. We're also down to 2-3
cats in bed at night. Luna almost always sleeps between our pillows ...
Vent: Fleas03 Jul 2005 04:45 GMT6
We have a problem this year. We have fleas... I've given Mutt advantage and
the cats as well but they're bringing them in from outside. I'm calling an
exterminator Tuesday morning and by Wednesday hopefully we'll have this
solved..
Greeblings in the water supply?03 Jul 2005 03:38 GMT5
Sundance has always like to watch water coming out of the faucet, but lately
he has taken to doing battle with the stream!  He sticks his head under it
and bats at it furiously.  I wonder if I should tell the water company that
their supply might be contaminated? :-)
OT - A Really Weird Thing Happened the Other Day03 Jul 2005 03:27 GMT7
And I do mean Weird!
On Wednesday, I returned home from my Library run & volunteering at the
local Humane Association.  Parked the Jeep near the garage (we use the
garage more for storage, and it 's detached from the house, at the back of
Thank you for all your asthma purrs03 Jul 2005 00:54 GMT2
Thank you to everyone who gave purrs and suggestions about how to deal
with my asthma and my kitties.  I figured it would be better to reply
to everyone in a topic than to each reply as that gets a little
confusing at times.
