Party13 Jul 2005 22:26 GMT8
I always underestimate how long it takes to get the apartment clean,

will come than actually show up.
Happy Birthday Julie13 Jul 2005 22:25 GMT6

Lions are pathetic13 Jul 2005 22:09 GMT2
Well, that's what Waffles thinks ;-)
This morning as I was having a cup of coffee and reading the post, the TV
was on. The programme was about African wildlife and some lions who are
habituated to humans, hence dangerous, hence in an enclosure. The presenter

Apartment purrs needed13 Jul 2005 20:23 GMT19
The landlord's being a scumbag... having tennants in the building is
inconvenient for him so he's terminated everyone's leases, even though
we sent in the letter asking for a 360 day extension way back in April
(according to the rules they HAVE to offer existing tenants an
I have a couple of questions about the breed of my cats.13 Jul 2005 20:21 GMT4
Hi there--
Girly--is a tortie cat--lol I read this morning about the temperments of
torie cats--I had no idea.  She was a feral cat-so add that in with the
tortitude--it all makes sense!
What do greeblings look like?13 Jul 2005 17:04 GMT2

More Vet Tech Journals (long and slight GW)13 Jul 2005 16:45 GMT16
Yes I'm here, though things are pretty much still routine at the vet
clinic.
One animal I had failed to mention in my earlier journals was Buster.
Yes he's a d-thing, but I didn't mention him because his story was
Sluttification continues13 Jul 2005 16:35 GMT1
Yes, folks, things are practically getting out of hand!  Vino has now
fallen asleep in my arms 3 nights in a row.  This coming from a cat
that I used to have to haul to bed and who would immediately leave
only to return later on on his own terms.  Now he comes upstairs on
Kumani Does the Wash13 Jul 2005 14:04 GMT6
Today I decided to change the doll display I have on my end table, by
putting out some different dolls in different outfits.  Well, Kumani
decided to be HELPFUL.  She picks up doll clothes in her mouth and
carries them into the kitchen where she drops them INTO HER WATER DISH.
Smokey has a Favourite Food.13 Jul 2005 09:49 GMT2
For the past three years--ever since we brought Smokey in from the
forests of CFB Trenton--Smokey's favourite thing to eat has been "food"
And his favourite kind of food has been "lots."
It has taken these three years for Smokey to realize that food
Coined Phrases13 Jul 2005 06:09 GMT39
Okay, we have a lot of coined phrases that have to do with our furry owners.
I can't think of all of them; I'm trying to get a grip on the list.  Help
me, please!

Garfield13 Jul 2005 03:56 GMT3
Check out today's Garfield comic. That cat is having a lot of fun.
Any cat does the same thing? Not Rusty though. He just eats and
sleeps, kind of  like Garfield in the last couple of days.
Rat update13 Jul 2005 02:50 GMT9
I thought maybe the rat had gone.  The cats had mostly lost interest,
although occasionally Nanki-Poo would lie under my desk, as though he
thought the rat was still behind it.  Someone suggested that it was gone,
and the cats were reacting to its residual smell.  I sprayed a ...
Cyber-stalking resources13 Jul 2005 02:41 GMT15
Since there seems to be no shortage of harassment taking place these days,
right down to veiled threats to contact people's employers, here is the
