| RB Kitty story invite (Rocky's Story" reposted - Longish) | 15 Jul 2005 07:15 GMT | 2 |
In another thread Lori (catnipped) said she enjoyed reading a post I made about Rocky, who departed for the bridge not long ago. She said, and I agree, that it's good to hear about our companions who are waiting for us at the Bridge. So I went back and edited "Rocky's

... in a wee cage in my library are two *tiny* voles. Youngsters. Waffles brought one in - alive & unmarked, with her usual announcement of "Mowz!" then dropping it at my feet. As it was a youngster it wasn't wise enough to run, but stayed at my feet so I could pick it up. No ...

I have some blueberries and I want to make 'something' to take to my FIL & MIL's 60th wedding anniversary 'do'. It needs to be something I can make in advance (i.e. can be frozen until required date), and it needs to be something that will 'travel' well as the 'do' is a couple

| Another little visitor | 15 Jul 2005 03:31 GMT | 13 |
We had a persistent little visitor today - a little orange cat who looked a little like Little Feet (who is fixed, by the way). He meowed and meowed, and pawed at the door, until we let him in. He rubbed against my leg, walked past the food, and (literally)

| PB is such a helpful cat | 15 Jul 2005 02:35 GMT | 1 |
This morning I came home after delivering newspapers. I look like I've just taken a shower fully clothed (it's hot here today) so I go and sit in the shade in the garden in the hope of catching some of the breeze that's ruffling the leaves on the trees. PB comes trotting down

Sam has been watching Cinnamon running from window to window to follow some thing that is in the yard. Now Sam has started doing this. It is so cute to see him run into the hall and try to decide which way to go. Ann

| TED purr request | 15 Jul 2005 01:08 GMT | 15 |
Snowball & Raki are at TED's today for a dental and neutering respectively, requiring general anaesthetic. I know the risks in young healthy animals are minimal, but purrs for things to go smoothly would be appreciated.

Hi, Joy - I've been wondering if you've talked with BlueBird lately. Is she able to communicate via phone or e-mail? Do you know if she's doing all right? Hope she's feeling better and is happy with her new kitty.

| I wanted to smack this person!!! (A cat rant)! | 14 Jul 2005 23:52 GMT | 6 |
My city's newspaper has a forum for their want ads, used furniture, etc., and pet advice. It's really fun, and VERY informative. It's how I found the breeder I decided to go with when I started educating myself about the Chihuahua breed. People who are new have logged in looking ...

now weighs 10 pounds according to TED. Even he was surprised as Mattie is still a mite of a thing. Tony weighs 12 and the Stripey Thing weighs 10 and her head only comes up to their shoulders. Her ribs are quite evident so she isn't overweight, but she is hiding a few pounds
