Tweaker is happy!16 Jul 2005 01:36 GMT27
Summer is here, and I am enjoying these warm, clear days in the San
Juans.  It is wonderful to be surrounded by happy animals who are
enjoying life as much as I am.
I posted a web page with some pictures I took yesterday and the day
Princess site updates, and a new web address16 Jul 2005 01:23 GMT3
I've finished the last chapter in the Princess story. This third video,
"Throw Your Arms Around Me" (which is an Australian classic, btw -
appropriate for an Australian cat) is kind of a resolution to all the grief
I've gone through in the past few months. I hope you all enjoy it ...

The Dog's way to a cleaner toilet  (Humor)16 Jul 2005 00:11 GMT1
How To Clean Your Toilet
1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to
the water in the bowl.
2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the
Little gray foundling--nice ending16 Jul 2005 00:10 GMT8
Hubby was very surprised one night when he walked into one of the
buildings at the waste water treatment plant where he works.
Imagine it's 3:00 AM, and you are alone on weekend duty, with the
gates locked, and you enter a small dark building and hear......thump,
[OT - sunburn] Okay, that's weird ...15 Jul 2005 21:56 GMT29
I went to kickboxing class today; my first workout since the
sunburn-inducing hike.
My shoulders looked normal, just a bit red, before the class.
After the class, I thought, huh, odd, the burned skin must be

For two weeks now, every time I've scooped the litter boxes (4 - 1 for each
cat scooped morning and evening) I've noticed something strange.  One
littler box out of the four had *not* been used each day.  Same litter -
nothing to differentiate one litter box from the others.  And ...

I am trying to catch up on some past messages; I was very sorry to read
about your Jazz, but thrilled to read about Lily.  I thought it was too
soon and I wasn't ready when Tallulah invited herself into my life so
soon after my Mike had died, but she and Hubert have done a ...
Amber at age 1515 Jul 2005 17:41 GMT11
I just posted a message in h+b about declawing, and I looked up a picture of
Amber (RB) at age 15 to post with the message.  Amber was a dear, sweet,
gentle cat and she had been four-paw declawed *before* I adopted her.  We
had many good years together, and she lived to age 16.  ...
Purrs, please, for tomorrow ...15 Jul 2005 17:22 GMT50
I'm going in for root canal attempt #2 at 9:15 Mountain time.  It's
not life-threatening or anything, but they're going to go past where
the endodontist is comfortable that he can avoid accidentally
puncturing the tooth.  If he punctures the tooth, it will have to be
summertiiiime and the trolling is easy15 Jul 2005 15:06 GMT21
Sorry for the earworm everyone :^)
Seems to me that there are one or two folks who are delighting in
stirring up trouble in the group by alternately preying our collective
insecurities and trying to get a reaction with offensive posts.

Hi Folks
I got to meet this litter last week and this assertive, confident little
chap was the one who came to check me out and condescend to play with
Signing off for a while15 Jul 2005 12:48 GMT10
I've just had my last Bar review class today, and will be studying on my
own intensively for the next 2 weeks.  At this time in 2 weeks, I'll be
halfway done with the Bar exam! When it's all over, we head off for some
much needed vacation time with family.
Can our Finnish friends help me with a translation?15 Jul 2005 12:00 GMT5
Hi, all!
I have an article online that's in Finnish, and I would greatly appreciate
it if someone could translate at least part of the article into English.
Or if you could point me in the direction of a reliable Finnish-to-English
Visiting yappy d*g15 Jul 2005 09:28 GMT16
My in-laws are coming to visit this weekend for Tom's b-day and they are
bringing their d-pet (a tiny zhit-zu, or however that is spelled). Last
time they brought it, the cats were *petrified* of it. Daisy (the
d-creature) likes cats, she hangs out with the cats my MIL feeds in
