| The Elusive Spot | 18 Jul 2005 19:35 GMT | 2 |
IBKFergus barely stops to acknowledge the adult hoomin's existance (The Yowlet is merely a very ugly kitten, as far as she's concerned). She certainly has far more pressing kitty business to actually stop and allow herself to be be scratched.

A funny thing she does is try to catch bugs that are on the outside of the window. She will leap at the same bug over and over again, only pawing the glass every time. Of course the bug knows it is safe so it stays put until it wants to go elsewhere. I'm just happy she can

| But I hafta go potty | 18 Jul 2005 18:47 GMT | 7 |
Mattie has become my resident body sleeper. I sleep on my side and she climbs up there - starting at my feet - and curls up on my hip or on my rib cage depending on her preference at the time. I find this very comforting and I have found I sleep better with her there than with ...

| Post birthday blahs (partly OT) | 18 Jul 2005 18:44 GMT | 16 |
The way the year's been going, I figured it wasn't going to be an altogether great day. But I didn't expect that the first thing that happened would be yet another tooth breaking off :-( Greaaaatttt. And because I needed time to get over the trauma of the colonoscopy, I

How do they do it? If Scott and I are going away for the weekend to my parents, we always take the girls with us. They travel well, and treat my parents house as their second home.

| Sammy loves ants | 18 Jul 2005 17:58 GMT | 1 |
It got too dry for the ants earlier this year and they started coming into the house in several places. The ants are getting to be fewer and fewer because it has finally started to rain here, and I know from past history eventually there won't be any more coming in. Meanwhile

| Got behind | 18 Jul 2005 13:16 GMT | 3 |
I have spent some time away, and other time very busy, over the last six months. As a result I have found myself getting further and further behind with RPCA. So I finally gave up and deleted 15,000 messages without looking!

| Samson loves mousies | 18 Jul 2005 12:49 GMT | 5 |
Samson loves his mousies. Samson is an oversized black cat that bears a remarkable resemblance to a panther. The funny thing is the mousies are all pink. He won't play with any other color mousie. He loves killing them so much that he plays fetch with them. I toss

| I fixed my meowmy! Didn't I? | 18 Jul 2005 07:14 GMT | 2 |
My meowmy has been giving me nasty tasting medicine every morning and evening since I had my teeth worked on over a week ago. At first I just took it, because I figured it was just that once. But she KEPT DOING IT! EVERY DAY! It tastes really nasty, so finally I started objecting ...

Another dog that was put down that I really like was Pablo. Pablo was a yellow Lab that had an amazing mouth/toy fetish. No matter what, EVERY TIME he came into the clinic, he had something in his mouth. He wasn't comfortable going anywhere unless he had something in

| Can I join in? and Introduction | 18 Jul 2005 04:10 GMT | 59 |
Hi all. I've been lurking for a long, long time and would like to join in, if you'll have me. My name is Karen and I'm the proud companion to 9 cats and a dog who thinks she's a cat. Number 10 has possibly just arrived (he hasn't shown
