Ping Dan!!! Conan Update!!27 Jun 2005 22:12 GMT32
Dan,
I just spoke with Katherine at the shelter and she says just come in and ask
for her and you can take Conan. She will be there tomorrow, but she does not
have to be there for you to do this.

I want a kitten27 Jun 2005 21:28 GMT1
I love Scout and Silver with all of my heart... but I always wanted
more than two cats. There are so many poor babies looking for homes
and I want to love them.
Silver seems to be much less timid than she was before, but Scouty
So, you're not going to believe this ...27 Jun 2005 20:21 GMT37
... there are many times that I sit down to write and wish I was Bev - this
is another of these times.
After dragging my discouraged rear-end around to 96 homes dropping off
flyers, crying my eyes out, looking behind every nook and cranny that I was
I called Harri's specialist to make a small donation.....27 Jun 2005 19:50 GMT4
I called Harri's specialist to make a small donation, and there is a *huge*
outstanding bill, as you might imagine from the extensive, (expensive!) care
Harri required.
My little $10 donation isn't much, but it's a little something I can do to help
Billy Graham27 Jun 2005 19:14 GMT11
I'm more pagan than I am Christian these days but it was still bittersweet
to read that Billy Graham may  have  preached his final revival sermon
tonight.
He wasn't spotless clean, but he was cleaner than most and kept a better
Good News on Jessie27 Jun 2005 18:55 GMT18
Her lab work is back and although she was slightly dehydrated, they didn't
find anything wrong with her kidneys (her creatinin and BUN were perfect).
She did have a low white cell blood count so the vet thinks it is either a
viral infection or, more likely, an early bacterial ...
Harri Roadcat update for Friday, 6/2427 Jun 2005 18:52 GMT19
Harri's chest tubes are still draining a lot of liquid, so she's not
ready to come yet yet. She'll be at the vet at least through the
weekend. They haven't yet identified the microorganism causing the
infection, but the culture is growing so they should be able to make
Apologies to the cats27 Jun 2005 17:26 GMT1
Yesterday, I nearly stepped on what I thought was an unusually large ball
of shed fur. On turning on the light and, examining it more closely, it
was revealed as most of a mouse. The identification is  quite certain,
even though it was lacking such typical features of a mouse such ...
Rosie's little trick backfires27 Jun 2005 16:23 GMT12
We are having a party today.  Jim will retire this month.  The house is all
re-arranged with strange tables and chairs all over.  The yard is covered by
a big tent with more tables and chairs underneath.
Friends and neighbors have been coming and going helping us set up.
a truly dust free cat litter?27 Jun 2005 15:29 GMT6
So, is there one? I have noticed Pearl's feet being very dusty upon leaving
the cat box. We use unscented Arm and Hammer clumping litter. Supposed to be
99% dust free, but.....  What would be the best litter to get to minimize
her being in dust?
Rusty is in hiding again!27 Jun 2005 15:25 GMT1
Rusy is hiding under the computer desk again. Sigh!
He is such a timid cat despite looking like a tiger.
After the a week's delay, the window washers are finally here.
They are making a lot of noises washing the outside windows.
How I learned to...27 Jun 2005 14:59 GMT6
deal with my difficult/negative/criticizing mother.
First hint and most important - get a best friend (or come here) to talk
about your problems and *DON'T* tell your mother about anything bad that's
going on in your life.  Relate only the happy things to her, and if she's
