I've been putting off doing this for a while. Mostly, it hurts. I think it's
time, mostly because of the bickering.

Eve said "mama" without trouble. She could say lots of things. But Jody

Harri Roadcat is home!
As we were waiting for the vet tech to bring her out to us, I was
figuring she'd tired and relaxed. Wrong! She a ball of fire, and didn't
want to hang around that vet's office one moment longer than she had to.
Pictures of Bandit28 Jun 2005 18:10 GMT8
Bandit is completely recovered now and, aside from shorter hair at the site
of the burns and a strange two streaks of white, is completely back to
normal.  Here are some pictures taken just a few minutes ago.

Encouraging update on Omar28 Jun 2005 17:44 GMT11
Just wanted to update how things are going with Omar.  Giving him the
prednisone pills and DOCP shot seem to be doing the trick -- within half a
day of his first shot you could visibly tell that he was beginning to feel
better.  He's had to go in every week since for bloodwork (not ...
More good Harri news, Saturday, June 2528 Jun 2005 17:36 GMT27
I just got a call from Harri's specialist. Yes, at 8:00 AM on a
Saturday. That guy seems to ALWAYS be at the clinic!
It seems I did properly read Harri's chart - there has been no further
drainage from her chest tube since early yesterday morning. The vet
Litterbox fun!28 Jun 2005 16:39 GMT17
Anyone else have cats that seem to get really happy and playful when
they use the litterbox?
Lynxie has always been playful in the litterbox; he jumps in with a
"pounce" motion as if he's playing, digs and makes "mrrrp!" trill
Wow!28 Jun 2005 16:28 GMT6
That was easier than I thought it would be!!!
I don't interact with Jessie as much as our other three because Jessie is
*such* a "daddy's girl".  I thought I'd have to fight her tooth and nail (on
the losing end, of course) to get two pills down her throat in between

While we are on a downer....28 Jun 2005 15:38 GMT30
The Yowlet has croup. The reason I'm up at 4am is that his barking cough is
keeping me awake because I am worried about him. I'm sure he'll survive and
be fine, after all, croup is just one of those childhood diseases these days
and is rarely anything more than a scary sounding ...
Blue?28 Jun 2005 15:34 GMT3
I bought The Yowlet his first set of crayons. He didn't get too far with
them, so I packed them up and put them away for when he was a bit older
IBKFergus found the stash of crayons, and batted them to the floor. The
others lay there where they fell, but she *tortured* the blue ...
Booty-Purrs Please28 Jun 2005 15:31 GMT22
I never talk much about Boots. She is really DH's cat and truthfully
doesn't like me much. Well, I guess she likes me but I am definitely
her second choice.  She was sleeping last night and kept doing this
little cough, cough, cough all night. So then I *did* pay attention to
OT: BAH! *fume* *seethe*28 Jun 2005 15:24 GMT9
Nathan had his Met Stradavarius, club jersey, Shimano shoes, shorts, and
gloves nicked from a locked room at college today.
BAH!
I have a need to remove goolies with a blunt, rusty, festering blade, shoot
Hahhahaha! More job description fun28 Jun 2005 14:59 GMT3
Omigosh! At least on company has a sense of hunor!
Here was the job headline I found:
-> Do you have at least 1 Year of .NET experience?
-> Are you willing to relocate to far east Texas?
Just to lighten the mood... (mild GW)28 Jun 2005 14:56 GMT22
All the kitties here seem to be aware that Harri is away from home, and
are acting rather nervous. Ranger, though, is too young to really
understand.
Ranger has an interesting habit - she's fascinated by the toilet. When I
Introduction28 Jun 2005 14:34 GMT15
I've posted a couple times now, so I thought I'd introduce myself and the cats.
I'm a fairly new to this cat thing. I have rabbits and been involved
with rabbit rescue since '95. Since we lived in an apartment and had 4
bunnies, we didn't want to push it and add a cat to the group ...
