| Please help! | 09 Jun 2005 00:29 GMT | 12 |
I don't normally put this sort of stuff up at RPCA, but to to say I was appalled is an understatement. I thought that the Catholic Church showed compassion to all living creatures. Please help. Helen M

| Spot and the ceiling fan | 08 Jun 2005 21:01 GMT | 8 |
A little while ago I was playing with Spot and Sammy. I was sitting on the bed dangling string toys while they played on the respective sides of the bed. Anyway, Spot finally caught hers, and was on her back watching the tip of the pole when something caught her attention. Yep,

| Majesticoon | 08 Jun 2005 15:04 GMT | 4 |
Is anyone familiar with Majesticoon cats? I keep seeing references to them on the internet. Having an ordinary tabby ourselves I am not so knowledgeable about these more exotic types. Mognusticat Servant.

Haven't seen him for 48 hours. I know he was getting real tired of being pounced on by little Bea, but this is ridiculous... I have shrimpies waiting for him here!

| My new suede shoes are *not* a scratching surface | 08 Jun 2005 01:13 GMT | 15 |
Tom and I went had a coupon for 15% off at the Timberland shop at the Outlet Mall in San Marcos, TX (Texas' 3rd most popular tourist attraction). We needed hiking boots and also regular shoes, they make very comfortable walking shoes. I chose a pair of shoes in suede, very

| Three-way paw-holding | 08 Jun 2005 00:46 GMT | 7 |
This morning as I started to stir in bed before waking up completely, Frank came over from the foot of the bed and lay down on the pillow next to my head. My arm was stretched out, and Frank laid his paw on it, with his claws out just a leeettle, enough to keep my arm in place ...

| OT: A Memorial Day mystery (Long!) | 07 Jun 2005 22:46 GMT | 15 |
Louie and I, for the past few years, have been going to the place where my mother is buried each Memorial Day, and say a set of prayers for her and for veterans. It's in a part of the church I grew up attending, called the "new cemetery" as it was land hastily bought and put to use ...

| Away for a few days ... | 07 Jun 2005 22:45 GMT | 3 |
I have an opportunity to spend some quality time (hopefully mountain biking) with my favorite aunt, so off I go. Kind of a last-minute decision. I should have some solid info about a job when I get back (I got an offer, but we're still haggling about some particulars).

| Spay purrs? | 07 Jun 2005 22:39 GMT | 25 |
May Miranda have a few purrs for Thursday? We will go to the cats-only vet for the first time, and she will be spayed if the vet thinks she is big enough. I'm probably going to be a nervous wreck. I take her in at 10.30, and should be allowed to take her home later the same day.

I have an interview on Tuesday for a job supervising a public computer lab this summer and giving basic computer classes. I can deal with this /much/ better than retail (To anyone here who works retail--I cannot do your job without sedation.) I really, really want this job

| Tennessee gest some Exercise! | 07 Jun 2005 20:34 GMT | 2 |
Yesterday, I was folding laundry in the bedroom, Tennessee was lazing the afternoon away on the window seat. All of a sudden, I hear what sounds like something slapping the glass. I look and Ol' Fat Grumpy & Lazy is 'chasing' a fly. It must have left the window for a bit, ...
