I don't normally put this sort of stuff up at RPCA, but to to say I was
appalled is an understatement. I thought that the Catholic Church showed
compassion to all living creatures. Please help.

A little while ago I was playing with Spot and Sammy. I was sitting on
the bed dangling string toys while they played on the respective sides

Is anyone familiar with Majesticoon cats? I keep seeing references to them
on the internet. Having an ordinary tabby ourselves I am not so
knowledgeable about these more exotic types.

Haven't seen him for 48 hours. I know he was getting real tired of being

Louie and I, for the past few years, have been going to the place where my
mother is buried each Memorial Day, and say a set of prayers for her and for
veterans. It's in a part of the church I grew up attending, called the "new
cemetery" as it was land hastily bought and put to use ...

I have an opportunity to spend some quality time (hopefully mountain
biking) with my favorite aunt, so off I go.  Kind of a last-minute
decision.  I should have some solid info about a job when I get back
(I got an offer, but we're still haggling about some particulars).

May Miranda have a few purrs for Thursday? We will go to the cats-only
vet for the first time, and she will be spayed if the vet thinks she is
big enough. I'm probably going to be a nervous wreck. I take her in at
10.30, and should be allowed to take her home later the same day.

I have an interview on Tuesday for a job supervising a public computer
lab this summer and giving basic computer classes.  I can deal with
this /much/ better than retail (To anyone here who works retail--I
cannot do your job without sedation.)  I really, really want this job
