Introduction #1 (long)18 Jun 2005 05:19 GMT1
Well, even though at this point I do NOT want to keep this stray kitty,
(yeah yeah yeah I hear you snickering) one thing I will have to do
eventually is introduce Kitty to Imp and Mischief.  I thought I would
try a little tonight.
Mogular mug18 Jun 2005 03:16 GMT14
I bet lots of people have got mugs with cats on - mogular mugs!
We found a great one a while ago. I just put a picture of it on Cat's blog
http://mogular.blogspot.com. The thing is, it even looks like Cat!
I am not sure what Cat thinks of it though!
attn Catnipped: Fibromyalgia18 Jun 2005 02:49 GMT6
I found out that my aunt has a friend who has drastically reduced her
fibro symptoms by practicing yoga.  I don't know much beyond that, but
I thought you might find it interesting.  If you're interested, I may
be able to find out more.
Oscar needs to go to the vet ...18 Jun 2005 00:00 GMT33
She has that lip EG thing again.  Sigh.  I was hoping that episode
over the winter was just a fluke; if it happens twice, I'm betting it
will keep happening.  Poor kitty.  Although, truth be told, she
doesn't seem to notice it.  It sure doesn't look very nice.
Major purrs please! (Not for me)17 Jun 2005 22:57 GMT19
Folks, please could my friend Paddy have some major purrs?
Paddy is a wonderful friend, who is my University lecturer from when I
was doing my bachelors degree 15 years ago. He has been a mentor, a dear
friend, and has supported me through thick and thin as only close

Last weekend the AC unit brokeduring the 90 F heat wave.  Not so

The mighty huntress17 Jun 2005 20:53 GMT7
This afternoon, the Mighty Huntress was in fien form. In the space of
half-an-hour, she brought me two voles and a shrew. One vole & the shrew
were alive & uninjured, so after a spell in the rescue box to recover from
shock, they were set loose in the long grass on the banks of ...
We're back from our trip17 Jun 2005 19:44 GMT3
We're finally back home.  Got home yesterday afternoon, it was a
really great trip.
We were able to get close to the price we wanted at the leather
factory, so in August we should be receiving a new couch and loveseat.

I believe I mentioned that my momis continuing on chemo for the breast
cancer she had removed last year. She goes in every week for monoclonal
antibodies, and every three weeks for chemo. Last week she went into the
hospital for a same-day procedure, implanting a catheter to make ...
Could I have a few spare purrs?17 Jun 2005 19:16 GMT22
This might be gross and TMI for some, so you are warned <grin>.
I am scheduled for a colonoscopy on Wednesday.  I am a nervous wreck.
I hate anything medical, and this looks to be a particularly
nerve-wracking ordeal.  Things can go wrong, and that always scares

We could use some purrs17 Jun 2005 17:32 GMT17
As most of you know, Dennis and I are trying to move to Australia
permanently.  We have applied for a resident visa and have been
waiting for what seems like a loooong time (since end of Feb) during
which they have been conducting "internal checks".
UPDATE2: Jean Hobbs17 Jun 2005 17:31 GMT5
Jean is a bit weak, a bit sore, and quite tired, but in really good spirits
and was still making sure I was OK without any thought to perhaps I was
concerned about her! She's out of ICU and back in a normal ward now.
I didn't want to hold her up on the phone, because I'm guessing ...
