I've just been doing a bit of weeding in the garden. Every weed I pulled out, Baggy pounced on. I'm very greatful, apparently weed greeblings are even more dangerouse than newspaper greeblings.

| I think I found a solution | 19 Jun 2005 14:36 GMT | 14 |
Well that second kitten had probably gone to a new home already, because I never heard back from his slave. But now I found a way to find my dream kitten and help poor homeless kittens at the same time. On that same web board where I found the other kittens, there's a woman

| Mabel and HRFL at the vet | 19 Jun 2005 14:20 GMT | 4 |
Like Mithu, Carolines S's babe, HRFL Tiger went for all his shots and 6 month check-up today too. Unlike Mithu, he peed all over the vet, bit the tech and was generally obnoxious. He's in good health. We also met Mabel for the first time. She's a very scruffy, creaky

| OT - What a day! | 19 Jun 2005 11:58 GMT | 5 |
This afternoon, Dennis and I went 1 town over to have a seafood lunch at the beach. Unfortunately the car died on the highway halfway there. Some total electrical failure. We fiddled with the fuses for a little while but nothing was happening, so Dennis walked to a nearby

| Garfield's purrsday | 19 Jun 2005 11:28 GMT | 3 |
According to today's comic, it is the famous Garfield's 27th purrsday this Sunday. Didn't know he has been around for that long. Can't wait to see what he will do on his purrsday and what purrsday presents

| Purrss for Girly, Spot, and George--and a concerned Cat Mewomy | 19 Jun 2005 10:14 GMT | 10 |
Please hold prayers for Girly. Send her lots of love, warmth, peace, and healing. She is quite thin--not sure why she isn't eating. I feel it is a comfort and safety issue. She makes her self quite small and is very timid. She shakes

| I am the Mighty Hunter! Umm... YECCH! | 19 Jun 2005 06:03 GMT | 1 |
Well, Captain might have killed his first insect today. At least, it's the first insect he's dispatched since the kitties were adopted back in January. I first saw him attempting to eat said bug, which was about the size of a

| Heavy rain | 19 Jun 2005 05:44 GMT | 7 |
It rained hard all night and was still raining this morning. The cats were in and had their breakfast. It was a bit chilly so I lit the fire in the kitchen and they both soon snuggled down upside downy head style next to it.

| Naughty little lady! | 19 Jun 2005 05:41 GMT | 5 |
We have two Juvenile Delinquents, a Bodhisattva, and a little Hussy!!! I never expected it from Odessa. The girl's a flirt! Now I know why she likes to play with me and get get a few Mama-cuddles, but is all over men like nobody's business.

| The Day Off | 19 Jun 2005 04:52 GMT | 2 |
Unfortunately, the Memphis show looks like it's going to be a bust. The way they've got it set up is odd from the outset. Last night was "by invitation only Preview" (allegedly invitations were sent to the area art patrons) or $20 at the gate. No one showed up.

| [OT] Why I have a first aid certificate | 19 Jun 2005 03:47 GMT | 37 |
I was in Big W at lunch doing a spot of shopping. Suddenly a woman ran out of the toy aisle screaming "what do I do what do I do?". She went back into the aisle, and came back out holding her daughter, perhaps 3 at the most, who had blood gushing down her face and was crying loudly.

| Visit to TED | 19 Jun 2005 03:08 GMT | 1 |
Well, the bitties and Li'l Bit had their first TED visit yesterday. The new paw for Gizmo and (formerly Tuxie) Norton has been down for a visit, to "bond" with the bitties. Originally, he had planned on calling Gizmo Ralphie (get it? Ralph and Norton? Honeymooners), but

| [OT] need salad dressing help, quick! | 19 Jun 2005 00:24 GMT | 9 |
I'm planning to make some chicken and salad for tonight; a nice, light meal for a hot day. I have stuff for the salad: mixed greens, tomatoes, avocado, orange bell pepper ... what I don't have is a clue about salad dressings.

| on the edge of Pompeii... | 19 Jun 2005 00:09 GMT | 6 |
Well, some metaphor like that kept running through my head, as Ding lay on top of the laser printer, and kept rolling, a little closer to the edge each time, to do upsy downy head. He actually managed two rolls that appeared to defy gravity before falling off, to the strains of ...

| Re William | 18 Jun 2005 23:04 GMT | 5 |
I posted a while ago about a friends cat, who had to have organ biopsies. Hurrah! Results indicate he is ok, no cancer yet! Some abnormal cells in pancreas but could have been due to severe irritation.
